Have you even TRIED searching for this? I am not even gonna tell you where you can find it, because it is that obvious...
Yes I have. I really wish snarky people would stop pretending that the search function on this website still works. It's been confirmed by MANY users that search is horribly broken and that the devs don't seem to care to fix it and have not bothered with it for years.
Please don't insult me by pretending my intellect is related to the horrible and sloppy code of this website.
Edit: So I found out how to disable it. It was in a forum post AFTER you insulted me. Thanks a whole lot. And I agree with the other person. This is STILL SPAM and should not be tolerated. I should not have to then install the mod it's spamming me about to get rid of it.
Please, I urge people to look elsewhere than this mod.

When ever I am inside a machine with AE2 components, they see to randomly lose connection, then come back. From outside the machine everything works fine. It's not a big problem, but something I thought worth mentioning.

Compact Machine's insides are always loaded, but the outsides are not. Use chunk loaders outside of the machine.

I am a prehistoric histories and manga / anime fan.
I downloaded compact machines via the download now button. I just assumed that would deliver the latest version. I will try again. My forge version is 1448 though.
Hi, I love the mod and am using it with a big reactor in the resonant rise modpack but was wondering if there was a way to move them without losing the contents inside? It seems pistons cant move them and a dolly cant pick it up, is there a way?
by default in the config you need to right-click a compact machine with a nether star to upgrade it and mine it with a pickaxe.
Speaking of iChun, Sync's Shell Constructor and Shell Storage blocks can't be placed inside a CM, and the Death overwrite feature doesn't work from inside a CM either. Are these things intentionally disabled by the mod (and left unchangeable by configs), or is it an integration issue?
Yep, I had set up a duplicate in a storage block specifically to test cross-dimensional travel with the CM and Sync before I shrunk down to place a storage block inside the CM so I could swap back, that's when I discovered the problem. And it seems to just be these two blocks, I haven't found another one that won't place in them, even the treadmill works.
As for Steve's Carts carts, I messed around with a couple, changed out parts to see if the modular part of the mod messed anything up and everything seems to just work, now, I didn't test every cart possible, so maybe there's an exception out there, but far as I can tell, they work fine for me.

I am putting Mekanism's reactors inside of compact machines in an effort to reduce FPS drops in my base. I've noticed there seems to be a cap on how much RF I can push through the connectors. I tried placing the reactor interface directly on the ports and tried connecting the ports through Thermal Expansions Fluxducts that have infinite throughput. Neither seems to transfer all the energy the reactor outputs. I'm currently using tesseracts as a work around, but I was hoping for a patch/upgrade to allow for infinite throughput on the CM interfaces. Perhaps it could even scale with the size of the CM in question with the nether star CM having infinite throughput?
Compact Machines used a dimension ID of 2, which crashed my client when trying to make a new world.
If you are having this error, goto your CompactMachines config and change line 83's entry to -5, it should no longer conflict with pretty much anything.

This could be done fairly easily with command blocks but that would require access to mystcrafts dimension tp command (can't remember it for the life of me), but a simple plate locked only to work with the connected machine block would be very handy for survival worlds and servers, especially ones with houses built inside cm or with psds disabled.
Anyone know of a good block camoflaging mod that will still work with CM? I'd love to be able to use armourers workshop but I highly doubt it would work as intended.
Is there a way to disable the IGW mod notification when loading a world / connecting to a server? I didn't find any config for this and IGW mod crashes with my pack so I can't use it.
If you can add a config for this, it would be great.
Thanks.
The IGW notification/"nag screen" can be disabled in a config. The configuration file is called IGWMod.cfg and this is where the notification/"nag screen" can be disabled. The IGWMod.cfg file should look like this:
# Configuration file
general {
# When enabled, this will notify players when IGW-Mod is not installed even though mods add support.
B:enable_missing_notification=false
}
To answer your question, yes, it will work without having IGW installed. For some reason, Compact Machines decides to make a config file completely separate to it's own for the IGW notification. I don't know why they just don't stick it in its config.

I thought I had already chunk loaded the area where the machine was. Guess I was wrong. Everything's working great now, thanks.
I am using a custom mod pack and encountered this error when I attempted to place a normal size block in the world.

Come check out my pack and tell me what you think.

You're correct, I did try that, still no dice.

You can tweak the energy throughput in the config file.
please port over to 1.6.4 I have a big modpack (cant post its.... i dont have the credits list and its very big)
its not TOO hard to port down a version and well if you dont i may have to do it myself
sorry for asking its a really amazing mod and i want to do something amazing with redstone engines MOAAHHAHAHAAA

The IGW notification/"nag screen" can be disabled in a config. The configuration file is called IGWMod.cfg and this is where the notification/"nag screen" can be disabled. The IGWMod.cfg file should look like this:
Thank you.
-LewisTehMinerz
Command possibly being /tpx?
To answer your question, yes, it will work without having IGW installed. For some reason, Compact Machines decides to make a config file completely separate to it's own for the IGW notification. I don't know why they just don't stick it in its config.
Updated to v1.21
This update is 100% community contributed and all thanks goes to Mordenkainen for implementing additional mod support.
