It's looking nice ! I suppose dropped items are affected by the currents too ?
And the flowing water concern all the river in depth or only the surface layer ?
I suppose we can't create a new river like your from scratch, since we can't recreate the currents...
Thanks! Items are certainly carried by the current, at surface and at depth. But yeah since normal water physics are unchanged, players won't be able to make their own flowing rivers - even if you were to do it in Creative or WorldBuilder it would be a lot of work placing each individual block to create a natural-looking whole.
Yes, just yes. If this mod comes out for 1.7.10, I would love to use it in my modpack.

I think it's something like "Never mind for 1.7.10"
Oh, since I'm practically refusing to update to 1.8 and higher (Unless for mods) since of how terrible the update was with the terrible eyesores they call 'bunnies', the unneeded stupid endermites, and the way too often spawning Ocean Monuments (Which are fine, but spawn way too often), and the lag due to the new rendering system and that resource packs can't render non transparent blocks as transparent anymore.

As I said upthread, it will be compatible with the latest MC version Forge supports at release time. I originally assumed it would be 1.8, but Forge isn't ready so it might be 1.7.10 after all. I just took off the 1.8 tag from the thread title as it seems to cause confusion.
QQ; Does the mod change the generation of the world to add these changes? Also, you should add a tool/block/command that will let you add a current to an unnatural stream like on my server.

Hello leviticalpixel, it is a worldgen mod yes. As for creating your own flowing rivers, there's no command or creative block at the moment, but even if there was you'd need to add each block individually with its own fixed current, which would take quite a long time.
question: can you either add an option to make the rivers wider? or just make them wider in general?
Rivers are widened by tributaries and their maximum width is a function of their maximum length. Right now I'm using an 8-chunk radius for generation which makes for good performance but rather short rivers; I might increase the default to 16. There will be a config parameter to further increase this if your machine is OK with the extra load.
It will be for whichever version of Forge is current upon release. As for compatibility with other mods, we'll have to try it to find out.

Yeah they'll still be a bit rough on the edges at first release, but this will improve bit by bit.
