Update... If I put the milk in using a milk bucket, it says it can't break it down. However if I put it in using a hose from the Adventurer's Backpack mod, it can break it down fine
Sounds like Adventurer's Backpack adds a fluid milk and that's what's output when you use a bucket. The reason it works when using the hose is you're probably drawing it directly from the Automagy fluid. If you were to use AB's method of getting milk from a cow (is there one?) (edit: or from the milk bucket), I'd bet the resulting fluid wouldn't work from the hose, either.
That seems to fit the theory we've been developing in the testing we've been doing. However getting a bucket of milk from the tank and then pouring it into the boiler doesn't seem to work either...
There doesn't seem to be a way to disable AB's milk, and I'm now convinced that is the problem. Is there a way to register an additional fluid with automagy so both milks would work? Or a way to tell automagy to use a specific fluid type?
I figured the tenacious chest would be useful in conjuncture with a sorting golem, but if the tenacious chest only has the item it is 'holding onto', the sorting golem won't sort an item of the same type into that chest. For example, there is one crystallized aqua in the tenacious chest and the sorting golem won't put his aqua in there as well. If I add a single aqua manually to the tenacious, the golem will start filling it. What am I doing wrong?

So, I was experimenting, and I found a limitation of sorts. Consider a tally box, a crystallized eye, and a RandomThings "player interface".
The player interface block exposes three distinct inventories; hotbar, main inventory, and armor/equipment.
There is no way to have the crystallized eye or tally box examine only one of these, because it disregards sidedness. So you get the same results right-clicking the eye on the bottom (hotbar) side as on a side (inventory) side.
Is there or could there be a way to restrict the eye/tally box/whatever to a single side of a target?
Had another suggestion. Would it be possible to make another mirror variant that can send Centivis through (perhaps at a reduced rate compared to stringing relays around)?

Hmm, for some reason, it seems that sorting golems check whether items can be extracted, not simply whether the container contains a given item. I'll have to address this somehow. I'll most likely set up a config GUI that lets you tell the chest sides from which even the last item can be extracted. You'll then have to make sure the sorting golems are tied to the selected sides.

Ignoring sidedness is usually useful, but I could come up with some mode that makes it not ignore that, I suppose. Perhaps a new tally box lens.

I've thought about it. It's quite likely given enough free time on my end.

Oooh, I would also like a Cv mirror, especially since on the server I'm playing on, one of my friends has plans to make a big energized node in their base, and I'd like to share it with them, but their base is really high up, so... eh, mirrors would save a lot of headache.

I can definitely see why ignoring sidedness would usually be useful. And my workaround has been working fine.
(I have a "remove junk from my inventory" thing which uses a greedy chest and an EIO conduit with an existing-item filter, and then I have a tally box controlling the conduit's extraction based on presence of an item, to give me a remote control.)
Version 0.26.3 has been released. Just a little something to address the issue with tenacious chests and sorting golems. (Didn't go the route I was anticipating so you shouldn't need to configure anything.) Hopefully I'll have the time to put together an actual content release soon.

And I hope that it may have the Mirrors we all want for our Inventarium setups x)
It would probably be nicer to have a linking tool rather than things just connecting to the closest inventarium they find when you smack them with a wand. That way cross-planar stuff could be linked as well potentially.
Also people would have to have access to your inventarium to link to it, and you could use multiples around the same base for certain applications.
If you right click the core with a wand, it will temporarily be the "preferred" core for linking purposes. If two cores are in range of a device you're linking, it will choose the preferred core when available.
Some sort of security system is planned (so you can prevent others from linking to or accessing your Inventarium) though I haven't worked out the details.
I am not the one doing Thaumcraft on my server this time around and I've never used this mod. The guy that is doing it this time doesn't understand the instructions from what I understand, but I can't help him since I've done zero research.

Well for starters, you can't actually make the redcrystal until you have the research done, that goes for all things made with thaumcraft. Just read some of the first entries in the thaumonomicon and work your way up from there.

Don't you be looking at my signature... It's mine and you can't have it!

I specifically said I am not doing thaumcraft, someone else is. He is to the point of making it but doesn't understand what the book is telling him to do. This is all I know. I'm asking for the physical process. I know that I cannot do it without the research.

May I use this addon and Thaumcraft itself in my mod pack; Fantasy Tech on the Technic Launcher?

Could someone explain how to create redcrystal?

It's made in the crucible, the Thaumonomicon explains it.
Again, I'm aware the book explains it. I can't see the entry, he doesn't understand something. I know it is in the crucible.
throw in a piece of glass followed by a piece of redstone for one redcrystal
thank you. apparently he didn't realize u still needed water in it for this one. derp. i guess he did it last night
