I've tried so many biome-specific generating mods that half of my worlds are eldritch abominations of terrains. Every single mod either requires me to specifically tell it every single block I want (Which is too complex), wants me to make "custom" biomes and select them (which always results in good biomes on the surface that breaks down, or simply stops generating the selected biomes after a while.
I simply want a mod that I can select for only a specific set of vanilla biomes to ever generate. I want mountains and evergreens and snow everywhere, not a mod that simply makes it snow in the desert without actually changing the desert part (seriously why is that a thing?) or making a snowy part where it rains. Allowing for customized biomes would be nice, but the only mod I've seen do that ends up cutting corners to where the selected biomes are often just wrong and unwieldy. Is there a mod, or can someone make a mod that effectively changes what biomes Minecraft loads for a map?

Have you taken a look at World Painter? Allows you to literally create the world as you want it to look, and you can set each biome/create your own biomes/OR even use a Biome ID so that you can integrate a Mod's Biome into the map. I've used it for a few projects, and I recommend it to you.
