Bugs:
Picks can break blocks that they shouldn't be able to break, Wood can mine gold/redstone/diamonds directly.
Picks can break adjacent blocks that they shouldn't be able to, Wood breaking Stone with Obsidian at the side.
Pick won't break a silverfish block unless hit directly (need to confirm)
Thoughts:
Kick @$$ mod. This will replace TC nicely. I don't suppose you could make a shovel version of this? Call it something like Big Movers or Earth Crafters/Shapers, something cheesy that screams use me.
The way TC breaks blocks seems to be based on which side of a block is being broken. This works based on which way the Player is faceing. Both are good methods. I don't mind it.
I put Efficiency and Unbreaking on a Diamond Pickaxe and it's just destroying a mountain. I like how I can repair the tool too.
Once the bugs get ironed out I suggest dropping this into an ad.fly and raking it in.
Alright, so I fixed those bugs. Turns out I never actually *used* the items persay. Also, was only checking for harvest type, not harvest level, that's fixed too. Lastly, Silverfish blocks are under Material.clay, so I included that in what it can mine, so you can also use it for clay.
Sorry for taking so long, had a bunch of AP homework --- not fun.
I couldn't find any bugs with it. I removed 2 mountains to make sure. I like how you fixed the break direction based on which side I'd smacking with the hammer. I will admit that it started getting annoying in 1.0.
span data-mce-mark="1">Would you like me to combine the "Hammers" and "Earth Movers" into one mod, with a bridge inbetween that can mine both dirt and stone?
Sure, why not?
I kept hitting snags when I'd hit a dirt clump. I kept a bunch of tnt on hand for such occasions, but being able to shovel it out would be better. Not to mention the two times I tried to light and run only to pin myself next to the tnt cluster.
Hey Alexcamostyle, do you think you could make 6 more textures? It's a lot to ask, I know, but your other ones turned out so well. Basically, I'd like wood, stone, iron, gold, and diamond "Earth Movers" which is basically a 3x3 shovel, and also a diamond thingy, that combines the pickaxe and the "earth movers". If you can't, just let me know, and I'll try to make some passable textures. Thanks in advance, Jiffy

I'll work on it tomorrow, and experiment with ideas.
Thanks for coding this all! It doesn't look easy.
Also if you don't like something about any of my textures, feel free to tell me and I might be able to fix it.
I think I'm going to post all of the updates there, just to keep it in one flash; and i uploaded the version that should be resistant to that bug, however I might have to go more rudimentary in how I check for blocks. Anyway, thanks for everything guys.

No rush.

So I opted for the name Earth Movers for the mod: There are three kinds of tools:
The recipe for the Wide Pickaxe is a 3x3 grid of regular pickaxes
The recipe for the Wide Shovel is the same as the Wide Pickaxe, but with shovels (Shocker?)
The recipe for the Earth Mover is like this
D D D
A D C Where A and C are a Wide Pickaxe and Wide Shovel

Thanks to Alexcamostyle for all the textures, you're awesome
EDIT: Found a bug. The Earth Mover can mine anything. (Bedrock, wood, etc.)
Also, not sure if this is intended or not, but there's only one earth mover tier: diamond.
