Hi guys, new to MC modding here, but I've been trying to look for a mod pack that resembles somewhat like elder scrolls medieval/fantasy gameplay...well here's what I'm trying to look for anyways:
-Singleplayer Adventure & RPG
-Map is extremely huge and explorable (w/ dungeons, etc. all sorts)
-fighting, armor/weapons (swords, axes, etc, NO sci-fi guns) (Armor is actually detailed not just re-colored vanilla mc armor)
-magic
-a large variety of mobs(a large variety of both dangerous and neutral mobs)
-towns/villages/forts/castles/(cities?)
-NPC's (that look like players, not just villagers)
-NPC follower(s)
-QUESTS!
-Survival
-LOTS OF BIOMES!! (BIOME's O' Plenty if possible xD)
-Andddd tech is fine too, but more like somewhat "ancient" technology, not sci-fi type
If possible:
-NPC's that give you quests (or NPC's that talk)
-Night time is actually dangerous and towns/villages/forts are fortified for night to be safe
So yeah...xD All these things compiled into one mod...if there are similar mods, with a couple of the above mods missing or some other mods that aren't in this list either...well just similar mods overall! I'd like to know those ones too since I'm still exploring all these wonderful mods on curse
Ok...sorry i just realized i posted in the wrong forum section :I Can I have this moved to the right one?
no need but it is problem u posted it here but try
TolkienCraft I havent tried myself but I think it has quests and it is RPG and that kinda stuff but it is sadly i think not much of biomes and it is custom built map if I am sure

Also other modpack for magic and stuff u can find a lot but I recommend Simply Magic for magic, and for Tech it is ArdentCraft the beginning, Crackpack. and for RPG style is survival: Regrowth, Forever Stranded. for land explore and find: Space Astronomy In quest based but rly following quests modpack: Journey to the core
Oh thanks! I found Tolkiencraft and Journey to the Core too the other day, and decided to check it out (videos n stuff). But I'm not exactly into like forever stranded either haha. Been trying to look for one where theres other npc's too. But thanks lots for the suggestions!

A great mod for NPC's is Minecraft comes Alive. It adds human(player)-like npc that can talk, trade, and do lots of things with you. You can try Roguelike dungeons (adds various dungeon/buildings with loot inside) for the adventure part.
How complicated do you want the tools and weapons section to be? If you want it to be elaborate, try Tinker's Construct, it changes the way you make tools. There is also a smeltery, where youy process, smelt, and make tools out of metal.
Finally, Thaumcraft, magical crops, and (maybe) Blood Magic are good choices for magic.
