....Anyone else have the keychain vanish when you attempt to add a skeleton to it? Lost two warrior skele's and two keychain's due to this.
Fixed it in Overlord 2.3.2. Full changelog for that version:
Fixed crashing if number of squads is not 0 or 5.
Bottles now play the sound when milking cows.
Fixed the recipe for the crown showing incorrectly in the guide book.
Fixed keychains and the skeletons they are used on vanishing in Survival Mode.

That's excellent news! Thank you sir~
Also, just as a heads up, I gave one skeleton warrior a sword with mending on it, and all vanilla mob kills result in no exp gain (sword isn't repairing either, so the mending enchant is nixing exp gain while doing nothing). Mod mobs seem to still give exp however.

Thanks for letting me know, I have put it on the Issue Tracker, and I will look in to it as soon as I can.
Bah... I feel like 'that guy' who always brings up issues.
Tried out the keychain the other day. Successfully added a warrior skeleton and the keychain remained! ...Then used the keychain again and the warrior came out as a baby skeleton instead. Equipment carried over correctly, but the type did not.

Well, that's not good. Don't worry about being 'that guy', I'd rather have people reporting issues than not reporting them. Are you on 1.10.2 or 1.11.2? And if you could provide fml-client-latest.log, or fml-server-latest.log, that would be helpful.

All fixed in version 2.3.3!
Also in that update, mobs now think skeletons wearing skinsuits look like players. Enjoy! 😀
My lovely work schedule hasn't been overly kind on making me be awake to check here. My apologies for not getting a log to you before you fixed it. I'll be checking things very, very late tomorrow after back-to-back shifts are done. Haaaa....
P.S. I hope the skeletons with skin suits on will respond to creepers instead of just standing around being blown up. I shall know tomorrow!

...I actually thought of the creeper thing right after I published the update, and added it to the issue tracker as a TODO for the next update. So no, they don't respond to creepers at the moment, but I am aware of the issue and they will in 2.3.4. If you find any other issues or have suggestions, please, let me know! I love getting feedback.

2.3.4 released, fixing some bugs, and making other improvements. Including army members running from creepers that target them.
Think you can add more monsters to control? Like Creepers, Whither Skeletons and Zombies of different kinds. Also different types of a certain species of monster would be nice. Like a larger tank Skeleton or Zombie, smaller(But not baby.) versions that can be ordered to craft or other things? Also do you think you can add other mod support? So Modded mobs can be controlled?
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Admittedly I was not expecting that results....it can't be right, I for one have to much a hero complex for that to be right and two: I am one of the most Pessimistic people around.....yea I have no idea how I got Mew.....
Now I got it, this is the Pokemon I would be. And I am not just saying that because I like Mewtwo, I really am a lot like Mewtwo.

I personally won't add many more, but I have designed it so other mod authors can, if they want to.
The only thing I am planning on adding right now is in an add on I am making, that will allow you to build robot skeletons.

will the robot skeletons be like Terminators or will they be closer to...idk.. C3P0 from Star wars?
personally, i like the idea of metallic skeletons with red robotic eyes rather than big hunks of humanoid-shaped metal. xP

Yes, it will be obvious they are robots. They look like the materials they are made of. Take a look at the pictures I've posted on Twitter for a preview. https://twitter.com/The_FireplaceMC/media

WOW! that's so cool!!!! one small tweak i recommend though... just to make them feel more like robots... they should have small glowing dots in their eye sockets... default could be red, however, i think players should be able to customize them

Overlord 2.4.0 released for Minecraft 1.11.2! Changes include the Mummy Skinsuit, which makes your skeleton look like a husk. If equipped as an augment rather than as a skinsuit, it grants nearby army members Resistance. This update also adds the Rallying Horn, a way to call all of your army members to you at once. Complete with a sound effect when the horn is played.
Full changelog:
Internal improvements
Added the Mummy Skinsuit
Added the Rallying Horn
Changed the Iron augmented Skeleton texture
Bug fixes
Optimizations
Been to busy to play so I'm behind on the updates XD
I just want to dig a small hole and stay in it now....
