I got one more problem. When I close the traincraft guide book, the game tends to crash very often within the following crash report:

P.S. The guy above told me I should update my mode. Do I have just to replace traincraft.jar file? Ain't I am going to lose my progress?
This bug got fixed MONTHS ago. You are using 003 - 009 is the latest. so yes: UPDATE! and no, you don't loose any progress.
Minetweaker port would be great, but even simply config option for disabling traincraft recipes would be welcome.
BTW, seems that all train can be assembled on I tier table?
If you want to force user to burn only coal instead of lava/stick etc, please use ore:gemCoal instead of minecraft:coal, to allow non vanilla coal to be used.
BTW, why not use fuel instead of burning coal?
Yeah, we agreed just switching to generic burnables was better all around, simplifies the code, and gives more features and even 3rd party mod support for the end-user.
So basically, if you can burn it in a furnace, you can burn it in a steam train or a zeppelin, and you'll get the same amount of fuel from it that the furnace would give.
As for recipes, Minetweaker support would be best, but I honestly have no clue how to go about it, or if it's even possible given the retarded way recipes are managed.....
Another option would be to ban the tables/remove their recipes, and make your own recipes for it on normal tables. Theoretically if NEI can't access the table they are meant to be made on, it won't load the recipe.
As for the tier I table crafting, that's a glitch I'll have to look into, because that shouldn't be happening.
Alright, well I looked into the tier I crafting glitch, It doesn't reproduce in my IDE, so it's either a compiler error, something's wrong with your setup, or something is really wrong here.
Can anyone else confirm the error?
if i wanted realistic scaled i would play RoW or real train mod not traincraft i love TC because it is versatile i can use the trains along with minecarts and other custom carts in the same railway and also use custom tracks like railcraft's light rails or steel and it even speeds up the train also i love how you added the new tracks but allow to still use the old please don't change it :c
EDIT: I may got the news wrong if it still fits in the old tracks i'm fine with it

Sorry, it's poorly worded.
it's the aspect ratio that we were looking into changing, still the same overall size trains just longer or shorter to fit the aspect ratio of the real one.

yeah i googled the IC4 i'm a bit outdated it's fine i can live with longer trains and it even looks cooler imo
EDIT: i saw a video about it and it looks weird on turns clipping into walls and stuff so maybe not so long trains

Yeah, we have to limit it to having the front bogie at most 7 blocks in front or the pathfinding takes a poop.
Glad that won't be a problem in the rewrite.
I just downloaded this for 1.11.2 server/client and it doesnt even start up. forge is installed ( v9982 ). Is there a tutorial or is this a bogus download used as click bait by someone trying to make a buck off you???

It was obviously clickbait, so yes they would be trying to make a buck off traincraft, Websites do that alot, Traincraft hasnt updated to 1.11.2 yet... You obviously downloaded it from a dodgy minecraft mods website which all need to be taken down..

I was trying to make IC DSB FH car, first I inserted all needed stuff and TFC Wrough Iron ingots, ingot slot had red border (other slots were green) and nothing appeared in output window. When I removed TFC Iron and inserted vanilla iron, system crashed immediately. It is reproducible both in creative or survival mode.
Improper use of arrays.... This is old code too. Why is it only now crashing?
I'll be sure to have this fixed for 010.
As for the iron, it's because we don't use the ore directory for iron (never expected a mod would make a copy of a resource that's already in the game).

Now I am not certain that this would work, but you might try making a "lasso" with the rails.
Create an offshoot, say, to the right, for a few blocks, then loop it back so that the end of the loop ends where the track turned to the right. That should effectively turn the train around to the way it was coming from.
Hello, can you advise mods with batteries for electric locomotives beside the IC2 and UE?
And if I install IC2 will be copper ingots(for example) work in traincraft's crafts? Won't there be any conflicts in generating of traincraft's ores?
Actually, if there are a full list of mods that are compatible with traincraft, I would appreciate if you share.
Generally any mod that provides RF batteries should work, IC2 and UE are the best examples, but there are some others, I can't seem to find any myself, but I know they are out there, dig through the RF mods on curse, there's bound to be something.
There's talk in the dev chats about doing an RF tender, for lack of a better term, but I wouldn't expect anything for that till the rewrite.
this may sound silly, but what is a suitable way of having a turntable within traincraft, or is there a recipe that can solve this problem?
The only known way (until the rewrite anyway), aside from the roundabout way that Leadbiter mentioned, is something like Remain In Motion, but it has to be a version that supports tile entities, and it likely will only work with vanilla rails.

Ive already actually tried making one with Remain in motion and it didn't work, they just fall through... (Yes I used vanilla tracks).
Well that's disappointing, i thought it did work on one of the versions of the mod.
Well, It was tested on a server, So that might have something to do with it, It was the latest version of the mod, Sadly doesn't look like its been updated.. Not a big deal for us tho, We use RIM for other things lol. Could you be getting mixed up with a different mod tho? But yea it would of been cool if it worked never the less.
Also Why are the tracks so expensive now, 6 steel and 1 wooden planks and you only get 16 Small rails? Dont you think that's a bit unbalanced? Or is there a way to switch to the old recipes via the config? I miss the days when you could get 32 and make large straights etc with 3 small...

Improper use of arrays.... This is old code too. Why is it only now crashing?
I'll be sure to have this fixed for 010.
As for the iron, it's because we don't use the ore directory for iron (never expected a mod would make a copy of a resource that's already in the game).

Damn.. Thanks Lachie1770. I've been wanting this mod on my server since 1.8. Just gonna have to keep hoping I guess..
Hello, can you advise mods with batteries for electric locomotives beside the IC2 and UE?
And if I install IC2 will be copper ingots(for example) work in traincraft's crafts? Won't there be any conflicts in generating of traincraft's ores?
Actually, if there are a full list of mods that are compatible with traincraft, I would appreciate if you share.
this may sound silly, but what is a suitable way of having a turntable within traincraft, or is there a recipe that can solve this problem?
Now I am not certain that this would work, but you might try making a "lasso" with the rails.
Create an offshoot, say, to the right, for a few blocks, then loop it back so that the end of the loop ends where the track turned to the right. That should effectively turn the train around to the way it was coming from.

I miss the days when you could get 32 and make large straights etc with 3 small...
i had a few ideas for both Traincraft and TIM:
new colours for the SD40, SD70, and GP8,
Cocoa beans/ brown = Great Northern
bone meal/white = Amtrak
glowstone dust / Yellow = Milwaukee road or Chessie system
cyan = Missouri Pacific
red= Missouri, Kansas and Texas/ Katy
lime = Western Pacific
nether wart = Iowa Interstate
and for new engines,
EMD E7
BR class 35 Hymeck
BR class 28 Metrovick
LB&SCR A1xx Terrier
GWR 14xx autotank
various MOW vehicles
