1. Download and install x64 Java 8 if you do not already have it installed. You must have this installed for the launcher to work correctly.
2. Download the launcher.
3. The launcher will download a .zip file to your Downloads folder with the name of ‘ConquestReforgedLauncher’.
4. Add the 'ConquestReforgedLauncher.jar' or 'ConquestReforgedLauncher.exe' (windows users only) to an EMPTY folder on your computer (if you've already used the .jar in a previous version you can add the .exe to that folder and remove the .jar). This folder is where all of your Minecraft files will be placed after running the .jar or .exe file.
5. Run the Conquest Reforged Launcher (double-clicking the ConquestReforgedLauncher file) and pick which modpack you would like to install in the top left corner:
7. Click on the 'Launch' tab and enter your Minecraft login information when prompted.
8. Select the mods you would like to install with Conquest Reforged and press ok. (clicking on a mod will display its website in the sidebar)
9. The launcher will check for updates or download required files if
this is your first time running it. It will take about a minute or two
(depending on your internet connection)
10. Once Minecraft starts up you will not be required to do anything else since the resourcepack and all other components are already pre-loaded for you.
11. Enjoy!
Addings Mods to the Launcher:
1. Open the folder that your launcher is in and go to instances > ConquestReforged(advanced/basic) > minecraft > mods
2. Drop your mods into that folder.
Checking Forge Versions:
1. Open the folder that your launcher
is in and go to instances > ConquestReforged(advanced/basic) >
then open the version.json file.
2. Look for something that looks like:
"libraries":[{"name":"net.minecraftforge:forge:1.10.2-12.18.1.2011"*]
3. Forge:1.10.2-12.18.1.2011is the version of forge you are running.

Hundreds of various custom textures enhanced by Optifine's connected textures
Conquest Reforged adds hundreds of high quality textures to Minecraft for builders to use in their worlds. Drawing on not only the original Conquest resource-pack, but also the ArdaCraft textures, Conquest Reforged allows players to delve into an endless amount of themes and building styles. Whether you want to build a Roman colony, medieval city, or a hobbit house, it does not matter: the textures are there!
Thousands of model variants for all the textures
With Conquest Reforged, many shackles upon creativity have been broken. Take advantage of the trapdoors, anvils, slabs, stairs, arches, and even small window models of Conquest Reforged to build the way you want to build.
Additional blocks do not stop with model variants. This mod adds many unique models, from round barrels and wooden rails to 3d ladders and furnaces, to allow you to realize finer details and a higher sense of immersion throughout your Minecraft worlds.
Total renovation of Minecraft’s Creative Inventory
Conquest Reforged builds upon Minecraft’s Creative Inventory by reorganizing every block and tab to provide intuitive block-selection. No longer is wood mixed together with stone; we’ve grouped together blocks according to their material and purpose. Best of all, Conquest Reforged adds another dimension to the Creative Inventory: a selection wheel for blocks with all of its model variants with an optional color wheel, as shown below.
Painting placement made easy
There’s no need to spend your valuable time sifting through all the painting variants for the perfect one now. Conquest Reforged adds the capability to select the painting you wish to place with quick commands. Not only that, we have added hundreds of new paintings that ignore Minecraft physics.
Great mod ! This will make using Conquest much eassier..
I'm surprised not alot of people commented here yet.
Bugs i found:
In some worlds, the order of the blocks get messed up when looking in creative inventory. Restarting game or f3+t doesn't help.
There is an iron bars looking fence block in inventory, but placing them down they are brick panes.
Lamps don't light up like Calardaras said.
Glad you like it!
I have heard of the order of blocks bug occurring for only a couple other people. What kind of Minecraft world does this happen in?
It seems that something doesn't interact well with Better Foliage. The edges of the grass end up without a texture. Maybe additional settings have to be tweaked?
Awesome mode! We've needed something like this for a while. However, some bugs I've found (although I am not sure if it is just me or not), is that blocks that use the connected textures such as all of the added double high plants, everything added as iron bars (like the farming tools, brooms, etc) do not connect when I place them together. Is anyone else having this problem?
I always get a black world when I load worlds using this texture pack and mod. Mipmaps are off, and I am using the forge 1.8.9, conquest mod, conquest texture pack, optifine 1.8.9, and worldedit 1.8.9. How can I fix this?
Having some difficulty with this. Wondering if anyone knows a fix.

The numerical block ids are actually below 4096. If you use the /info tool in worldedit you can find the numerical block ids. We'll most likely be releasing a list of all these ids soon.
I love this mod! It is a great change from the old 1.7 way! I tried to put it on my server but, it did not work. Does it work on servers yet and if so, how would I get it to work.
Its weird, however, because in the inventory it gives a whole different id number. f3 + H and hovering over a block shows that light dirt has id #4366, but with the info tool #484. Could you fix this if you have any spare time? It would be really helpful.
Keep working this amazing mod!
My pleasure. We're looking into a solution to this.
It's great having the extra blocks back, as I always used them in modded environment I don't mind Forge at all. However I wonder if the wet slate popping up in the crafting grid is deliberate (totaly fine if it is, but I was about to add some recipes in for myself with CraftTweaker).
We're glad to hear you're enjoying the mod! We just removed that strange recipe in the latest update.
Wow this is really cool! Thanks so much for making this, I saw a video on it and it looked amazing! I love the medieval style decoration. No other decoration mods have that, except decocraft which have a few things but this is a lot cooler!
I saw this video on it, with an awesome house in case you havent seen that showcase:

Updated to 1.9.0!
Featuring:
We have completely redone the creative menu in the 1.9 update so blocks should be easier to find and all the lanterns now generate light.

Conquest is my favorite resource pack and this mod is a fantastic idea! Thanks for it! <3
Edit: Carved Oak Pillar is also crashing the game when I try to place it.
The numerical block ids are actually below 4096. If you use the /info tool in worldedit you can find the numerical block ids. We'll most likely be releasing a list of all these ids soon.
UPDATED TO 1.9.4 FORGE
-added Roman blocks
-added some Ardacraft blocks
-flowers can be placed on all mod dirt blocks
-added full log blocks (easier to place)
-introducing 3d java models... check out the 3d barrel!
-added log trap doors
-added bread cake
-added flour barrel
I love this mod! It is a great change from the old 1.7 way! I tried to put it on my server but, it did not work. Does it work on servers yet and if so, how would I get it to work.
Okay I play 1.7.10, is there a way I can get the legacy versions?
My pleasure. We're looking into a solution to this.
