when will you release the next update? The wiki has been updated with the force fields but there is not yet a download... btw i love this mod!!! it is the best mod i have come across!!

We've tested the force field in SMP for the first time today, and it's too laggy for release right now.
On the bright side: Relays and tiers work. Shapes and fusion are working. Thickness, and Silencer upgrades are working. Rotation upgrades is good enough. Camouflage mostly work, need a blacklisting for some mods. Plugins protection works. Speed upgrades should work too. Cooling & heating mostly good.
On the not so good side: Collision, explosion & laser don't drain enough power. 3 TNTs are enough to break a top tier force field. Shock isn't working. 20 Projectors uses 80% of server CPU, still working on it.
Next release will come with my PvP pack, curse will follow.

Hi. Thanks for working so hard on this mod. I have a question about transitioning from the overworld into the space dimension. I'm working on a large project to build a space elevator type structure. Is it possible to transition between dimensions without being in a ship? thanks.

Currently, the /space command can be used to teleport yourself or another player.
Previously, there was an undocumented setup to teleport players from a planet to space.

I have a question. Why is it that with the cloak, the position of the cloaking coils doesn't control that side of the cloak, of example in my world;
+y cloaks +x
-y cloaks -x
+x cloaks +z
-x cloaks -z
+z cloaks +y
-z cloaks -y
Have i just set up the cloak wrong? because it still cloaks i just have to use that set up.

There was a mixup between axis when computing the cloaked area. It's already fixed in dev. Use a cube shape for now.

So we did another run of testing this week end on the force field implementation: block breaking and placing are working, translation and range upgrades are good enough for now, camouflage is much more stable. Explosion effects still need some work. Relay have unlimited range for now.

Hey! This is by far one of the best mods I've ever seen! I have a question about it though. Does your ship move in real time, or is just teleporting from place to place. And if it is just teleporting from place to place are there any addons or other mods that I could use with this mod that would do that?

just teleporting. making it move real time would get massively laggy. Archimedes ships does this but it suffers from the problem described and wouldn't work for big ships that is mod can do.

Hey Lem, I just had a great idea for this mod. What if you created solar systems throughout space and a starmap block that showed where these planets are. Maybe you could connect your starmap to your warp core and it could program the warp core to jump to that solar system. Just a thought.
