I didn't realise there was a problem with AMD cards, can you fill me in on what's heppening
All AMD R9 xxx series and probably older AMD cards as well are affected by artifacts on Continuum and Seus . When the player nears within 10 or so blocks of an entity the player skin goes all pixelated along with the nearby entities such as paintings , animals , item frames http://imgur.com/a/t6LFy . Seus and Continuum have identical issues . the common factor developed on nVidia . AMD and nVidia handle functions differently . The other shadders lattest versions have been fixed to work with AMD . sp614x is developing Optifine using a nVidia card as well , so any fixes that are done on his part benifit players with nVidia . This is perfectly fine if you are targeting the shader to players using nvidia , but it will never work with AMD cards as is .

Hmmm ok well that sucks um unfortunately no one on the continuum team have a AMD card to run any tests to find a fix for this bug, we could try but it's like shooting at a target in the dark and we would need someone to test each time we try and make a fix, this would be very slow and not very efficient. One person might be able to help fix this bug and that is sildur as he has a wide range of testing pc's available to him(I think he does anyway) so maybe try and message him if he knows what's causing this bug

At this present time , Sildurs 1.15.3 shaders is to AMD cards , as Continuum is to nVidia cards they both get the job done on their Targeted Hardware .
Test Transparancy and Texture scaling . Test for how light passing through Player skin is causing scaling or magnifying of the pixels in textures used in entities ?
Edit the line 76 of composite1.fsh don't finxing anything on my GTX 570 with latest driver I got this result (and sometimes blue and black screen, depends of the direction I look) :
Anyone have an idea ?
i had the same issue with my 580GTX,
you will need to go in shader option to turn off some features of "shadow and lights". IT only temporary fix the problem for now. either GPU or driver has a problem with the feature of "shader and lights". let me give you which page i posted a post that talked about this issue,

Try the latest continuum 1.3 preview 2, this version added better support for GTX 500 cards
and on note: i was able to use from low to standard without any problem.. so high profile is only one i have problem with. and its almost perfect. and reminder: 580 GTX
Thanks kluckart but nothing of these change work for me :/
The GTX 500 series are quite old for now (even if my GTX 570 and 560 TI/80/90 still powerfull in my opinion) and they are seems to have different problem (after reboot i got "everything" working on ultra but is the result)
I'm going to buy an used GTX 680 for 80$, what do you think
hmm i see. that result is different from my result.. hmm. i may be able to buy a new GPU in 2 years or so... its quite frustrating that i am not able to get new one.. but my GPU is still running fine.. and indeed its getting old.. so its pretty time for me to get a new GPU. but its not the right time yet.
as for you to buy an used GPU, i would suggest that you read some review to make sure there is no issue or any problem with minecraft's shader or other games.. especially fans... there are some GPU that has issues with fan which can be heard as its loud. so you should look in the brand of 680GTX or so.. thats all i can do is give you a good advice.
Everytime I start the shaders i receive this message: [shaders] error: invalid program "composite2". The sky becomes black and all blocks become white with a rainbow edge.
This occurs with any resource pack. Including default.
Here's an example: IF MINECRAFTFORUMS WORKED!!!!!!!
What am i doing wrong?? Any help would be appreciated.

Tested on AMD R9 290x , Still not working correctly
Player skin becomes pixelated when within 10 blocks of certain entities .ex. item frames , animals
Steves head on armor stand will cause Steve head to pixelate , better than before , now the armor stand is ok
A lot of graphic stuttering on default settings , less when things are turned off
Colors are nice
If this shader is Targeted at nVidia hardware maybe you should indicate this on Page 1 . As I pointed out before , without access to AMD or Intel Graphic hardware , your end product will only be suited to nVidia hardware .

Do you have the same problems in seus v11.0 as well or is this mainly a continuum bug?

Seus is the same . My observation , which is a logical one , is that all the shaders that are being developed on nVidia hardware , will never work on AMD or Intel . Silur , Robo , MrMeeps are a few developers that have access to more hardware ie.. AMD , Intel and nVidia to test with . If you are just working on the nVidia hardware , then you should post on page 1 , that you are targeting just nVidia graphics .
Why does the fences has purple textures? When I check my inventory its fine but when I place it down its purple. Also, whenever I type torch in creative it crashes. Help?!

Everything works fine on my average laptop.
same happens to me i have mac anybody help?
Sorry to say but Mac's are not supported

Ummm.. Okay, so your shaders did this to my game. Not that I'm blaming you, but I thought you might know what the problem is and be able to help me.
