DotMod , your version 1.2 continuum shaders causes a similar
corruption to Sonic E's version 11 shader on newer AMD Graphic cards . The problem was present in sildurs1.141 and chocapic13's shaders as well , they now have fixed in version 1.151 and 6.2 AMD fix . The players skin and entities
are affected when they are close to each other . example , put Steve's head
on armorstand will start to glitch , or a players skin will get corrupted if you
go close to another entity . Nvidia does not seem affected . Sorry the pictures recycled of seus but all the shaders were the same , I'm guess because all the shaders were originally based on Seus .

I've had the same problem with my R9 290, but when I upgraded to my GTX 1070 the problem went away. Strange.
Each Mfgr AMD and Nvidia have proprietary driver code functions to do their magic , they don't share . A coder that Optimizes the Graphics on a Nvidia card may well break the graphics on a AMD card . There are over 100 million minecraft players worldwide all with different hardware combinations , its just hard to find all the bugs . In the Last AMD Crimson Driver 16.6.x The driver allowed extra voltage on the PCIe bus causing everything to heat up even permanently damaging people systems . Seems fixed in the 16.7.2 hotfix beta , testing these drivers with no compensation if they wreck your card is risky . Makes me want to go grab a nVidia card . lol

yeah you are so right and that was an EXCELLENT explanation.. thats why its never easy to find all of bugs.. and as you can see these previous post i have posted.. it is quite strange.. with Shader 1.2 of Continuum PBR, i looked up at the sky. it was perfect.. but if i look down at the ground, i get black/blue/yellow.. I am not sure why. the reason is because it has to do with the block that's rendered by the shader.. i am trying to find out a way to fix it.. but i used SEUS v11.0.. there was no problem... I dont know why. one thing for sure.. there is somewhere in the fsh of Continuum that caused the problem. that could be considered to be a bug. so i want to FIND that bug and remove it. I hate to say it.. its part of life where we will face many problems like this situation in future and it will never end ever. we also will have to try overcome these problem whether we like it or hate it.
Please help me fix this Error : Invalid program composite2. I have found many youtube videos about fixing it but none of those work. PLEASE HELP (before I re-install my Windows 10 I still can run it but after that the error came up)

which shader did you used to get the error? PBR or NON-PBR?
i have to ask.. before you install the windows 10, you used to run the continuum shader without any problem? then you installed the w10.. and you got the error, Invalid program composite2..
most importantly we need to know what your specs are
well i think the spec dont matter, because it look like hiimteddy243 is using Windows 10... well he is not only one who has the same error..
i am sure he is using Non-PBR, the one that give me the same error.. Composite2.fsh error. I am also using Windows 10.. as well. i had the same problem as he does.. i dont have solution because no one knows or answered my question.
thats why i asked him to see if he is using Windows 10..

There is one test i want you to do regarding the shader you are using.. with minecraft and windows 10
try use the PBR.. and run it with your minecraft... tell me what are the background you are looking at (thats when you should be looking at the ground)... it should be colors "black/blue/yellow", if you do see it.. then try look up at the sky... it should run perfect when you are looking at the sky.. (no problem no blue/black/yellow background)
if you have the result as i would say. then you got the same problem as i do.. but if you do not have the same result..then its something else and you should tell us your spec of your computer (what GPU, CPU do you have etc)
if
we have the same result/problem... then it has to do with windows 10 we
are using. Windows 8.1 and windows 10 are quite different in coding,
but same design and content.

Hello, ok so I have looked at all your posts and you mentioned that you have a GTX 580 and unfortunately this series of cards do have problems with continuum, I can safely say that it's not a windows ten problem as most of the continuum team are using win10. From what you have described being a composite2.fsh error I think that you haven't got the fixed continuum non-pbr 1.2.2 that only came out on facebook as I fixed the problem, it was actually caused by the newer Nvidia drivers. As of writing there is a new version on the continuum facebook page (should be top post) that is continuum Non-PBR 1.3 preview 1, see if this version works for you as I have had some reports back that it's working well. I hope this helps you and get continuum working again

well thank you for the explanation.. that answer my unanswered questions. alright. i am just thinking of everything.. then i can rule them out.. u know.. being like detective, you got to figure it out who is the culprit. hehehe. alright i was waiting for v1.3 continuum preview to come out.. because it would be based on SEUS v11.0.. and of course, i have no problem running Seus V11.0. I'll let you know how the Continuum v1.3 turned out.
Please let us know if there are any bugs or issues with this Preview version, we are aware of a few bugs and some performance loss overall. This has been the hardest update for Continuum ever as a LOT had changed in SEUS V11.0 meaning a lot had to change in Continuum to get it all working and unfortunately Continuum's Global Illumination still hasn't been implemented yet but hopefully it will be in the full release.
Some of the new features:
* Added SEUS new Volume clouds
* Added a new Volumetric cloud type that can be turned on in Shader options
* Fixed underwater shadows
* Big thanks to Bruce for taking time to add back his extended shadows instead of using SEUS version
* Big thanks to Joey for taking the time to add in HBAO
* Added Colour Shadows from stained glass
* fixed stained glass, now ice, water and Stained glass are separate
* Added Refract to Ice
* Ice has been improved with a Depth fog
* Added SEUS Blur filter to the water to improve the look of caustics
* New Temp Underground fix
* Volumetric light no longer goes through walls underground
* Updated Speculaar
* Re-organized the shader options
* and a few other bits here and there
I have tried the V1.3 preview.. and all i see in the background is color.. yellow/black/blue/red. when i am looking at the sun.. i can see the sun. but the color is i believed blue and sun is dark blue..
can you please look in it to see if you can fix it that i can use it.

It's not working with AMD R9 Series of video cards . The pixelation of entitities is still there . Talk to Sildur , he found the problem and fixed it in 1.15.2

Ok I think I know what might be the problem, try turning of godrays, not the volumetric light but the 2D screen space ones and I think this will fix your problem. I have experienced this on my old pc that has a GTX 570 and unfortunately these older cards are bugging out with some bits of our code.

Ok thanks for the report, not having a AMD card to test with its hard to fix these kind of bugs but I will try and contact sildur and see if he can help

So I'm one of the scrubs with a 560 ti:(...
But it looks AMAZING when it works, actually! I'll upgrade to a 750 ti one day, and the only problem is that when I look at specific angles, the screen becomes a solid color. In 1 specific angle, it's faster than SEUS and is much better looking!

In the shaded options there is a gtx 500 fix setting, try turning this on and also turn off 2D godrays as this effect doesn't work well with the gtx500 cards
what gpu do you have?

Having problems with both 1.2.1 & 1.2.2 in GTX 1080 with newest drivers
In 1.2.1, it says "invalid composite2 " and black screen; in 1.2.2, it says "invalid composite" and renders things yellow.
Is there any way to solve this?
