Feel free to leave suggestions on what I should add for rewards!
Description:
Explore your world and open these mystical blocks to obtain random rewards. Some rewards are helpful while other can be devastating. From rewards that spawn in hordes of zombies and death traps, to one tbat build full houses and provide next level items, each reward has its own unique twist to make the feel special. Don't feel like exploring? Then just simply sacrifice some of your lapis to craft and obtain these mystical and trollsome blocks. Making a modpack? Want to make your own addon to add rewards to this mod? Well with an easy to read JSON file format for creating your own custom rewards you can!
Backstory/ Info about the mod:
Chance Cubes is a lucky blocks alternative mod, inspired by the Twitch streamer Wyld. While the main concept of getting random rewards through breaking blocks is the same, I have added my own twists and changes to separate this mod from lucky blocks.
Have a video demo with Chance Cubes? let me know and I can add it here!

Features and In-Game Info:
Over 100 Rewards currently added!
Wiki: https://github.com/wyldmods/ChanceCubes/wiki Please note this is still in development, but if you are familiar with the JSON file format you should have everything you need here to make your own rewards.
I am also planning to add a more easy to use in-game reward editor, but that will take some time so it is still a little ways out.
Reward Addons:
Addons that add more rewards will go here! If you make more custom rewards and want to share, simply package them together and put any schematics in a separate folder. To add these addons to your own version, just unpack them. Place all JSON files in the custom rewards folder and all schematics in the schematics folder.

If I helped you in any way or agree in my ideas or posts, make sure you click that green arrow pointing up below my post or simply huggle me! I use 1.7.10 (Modded), so when I comment that I like a 1.8 mod, I will comment to downgrade to 1.7.10. I support no pics, no clicks. Suggestions that I think that are the best deserves a banner!
It is almost time to say goodbye to 1.7.10 because of the recent surge of big 1.9 mods.
Why MCreator sucks: jcm2606's file (doesn't open a new tab) He allows/welcomes anyone to link the file, so I put it here in my signature for people to know how MCreator functions. I thank jcm2606 (he's awesome) for creating the document/file and I'm just here to spread the word.
java.lang.RuntimeException: Serious error calling getRenderType() on block chancecubes:Chance_Icosahedron : Likely cause is client-side code is being called server-side

Sounds cool! This sounds like a good competitor to the Lucky Blocks mod.
There are 10 types of people in the world. Those that understand binary and those that don't.

So basically this is another lucky block mod..
Yes, but I think this has a better addon API.

Yes, in light of what is going on with lucky blocks, this is an alternative mod that can be used in mod packs and such.
Mod is now available! Hope everyone enjoys!
Looks like a great alternative to Lucky Blocks.
Thank you! Hopefully i can improve it and make this mod grow into something awesome!
Can you update the config examples? I want to show this mod off
Got this when ran on server
yes, this is a known bug a fix will be up today
what do you mean by update it?
I meant could you update the config tutorials. I'm trying to add a item, but have little clue how to.
Ahhh, yes i am slowly working on them. I have a lot to work on currently
i know this is still an early mod, but will there be mod support implemented? i mean like the cubes giving any items shown by nei.
Come check out my pack and tell me what you think.
by default maybe, but you are able to do it with custom rewards currently.
ok i was just wondering because i have like almost 300 pages of items shown with nei. nice work on the mod.
Come check out my pack and tell me what you think.
There is a wiki linked
how can you add modifiers to spawned entities like a chicken riding a slime or a a zombie in gold armor in the cfg file?
