Okay, the thing is, I've tried everything to change the model into the spider queen, and it's not working for me.
- Changed and updated forge version.
- Run only the mod itself.
- Removed and installed each mod if one made the changing.
- Setting the config back and forward to see if they would change the model.
*Sigh* I think I'll wait for the next update or I'll just go with the human form with the spider abilities then :3
The same thing is happening to me as well with the spider queen model not showing up, except instead of having all those mods installed all I have installed are: DamageIndicators, BabyAnimals, MemoryCleaner, Optifine, RadixCore and SpiderQueen. I have done everything Niconiko has done as well. It's very strange that it is only occurring for some people.

Run through this checklist, make sure that everything's right:
You are running Forge version ending in 1448.
You are using only RadixCore 2.0.2 and Spider Queen 1.0.0.
The "use spider queen model" configuration option is set to true. If you had to change this value to true, restart the game before testing.
That's exactly what I'm running as a test, and it works. We didn't experience this issue during testing either, it's entirely new to me. :/
Minecraft's spawning system leaves a lot to be desired. It's one of the first things I think we will be taking a look at reworking in the future. And queens do not spawn with other spiders around them - that was a feature in Reborn only.
Oh, I see. I just got ambushed by about 4 spider queens right after spawning which really surprised me(to put mildly. Getting mobbed by 140-health enemies that hit like a truck while you're empty-handed is not a nice experience.). Tested bit, and it was probably my dumb luck though, so no worries there.
Also, is there somewhere where I can see what all the new items do? Some I get, but others I'm a bit confused as to how they work. And is there a way to check your reputation?
Finally, just happened to find a factory purely by chance, and boy did it have some expensive loot. Being in peaceful removed the imprisoned mob though.

Maybe an open hand right-click fires a webslinger-style shot that creates a connection to a block or entity as long as you keep holding right-click (space pulls you to the target, and shift attempts to pull the target to you ((maybe manual wrapping option too?))), while just right-clicking basically launches the web item.
This one might be a bit too far, but what about a venomous bite or a branching option (for us rpg-lovers :P) giving you an option to specialize in certain styles of play? like hunter or trapper; one giving increased movement and stronger venom, and another increasing web generation and climbing speed.(Sorry if this sounds overboard, it's past midnight right now..)

Having a webbing bar, though not needed, would be nice. So far, a extra two spaces in your inventory are taken up by webbing and string, and with humans dropping a huge verity of items, your inventory gets filled up pretty quick. Two slots might not be much, but it can be quite helpful.
On a side note, it would be nice if we had a sort of 'dense webbing' to build with. Not the 'block of webbing' made by shooting the webbing twice, but a solid block that you don't fall through that we could use to build giant webs and such and actually live on them instead of in caves and houses.
Also, love the 'new' webslinger. It has very smooth controls compared to some other grappling hook-type items, and it gives you such a wider range of movement. It's kinda annoying that some creatures can't be webbed though.

Relying on the player to be holding a button to keep a web connection would be flaky at best. It'd never feel right. I like the idea of a webbing bar, but it would feel a bit out of place for this mod. For magic mods and the like, I could understand. But just generating web? Nah.
Finally an update to this epic mod ! I`m already preparing a mod adventure... (mod showcase)
But I experienced some bugs. Besides Spider Queen I use Damage Indicators and Shaders, but the Boom Spider blew up my own army. And the ants are supposed to dig UP right ? They just randomly walk around and if a block is close, they destroy it. (Precious diamonds... )
Also, I found a factory but I only found random mobs walking around. None were imprisoned. All humans were killed. And isn`t it a bit OP ? Lots of all sorts of ores ?

The Boom spider fires projectiles at whoever you target. If another spider gets in the way, they can be struck by that projectile and explode.
As for factories, I figure their rarity outweighs the massive amount of loot inside some of them, but their loot will be tweaked in an update.
You also won't always find an imprisoned mob in the factory - make sure you've searched thoroughly though, as they can be difficult to find.
How do you get the rare fruit, and what do they do?
Another thing. Wouldn't it be cool if you could make a webbing block, that's completely solid. I would look like it's made of compacted webs. You could probably make it with a crafting table of webs. Then it could slow any non spidery characters on it.

And the poison webbing-can it cocoon mobs, or no? Can you apply the poison by hitting a mob with it? Is it's only use simply placing on the floor as a trap? What exactly is jack's lantern for if we get night vision at night anyways?
Finally, your 'allies' seem to have a very hard time following you, even with a spider rod or flower(for the bees). I lost many a ally simply because they couldn't keep up with me.
I hate to be that guy, but this IS going to be updated for 1.8 eventually right? Because all of my favorite mods seem like they are forever in 1.7.10 or 1.6.4, which sucks :(. And I don't want this mod to have the same dead-end.
Also, the ant texture, in the mandible area, looks wonky, like steve in Craftee resource pack. Maybe it is just me though.
Just looked at Jack, is he supposed to have a floating piece behind him? and he also has only one arm, unless that is supposed to be like that.

I was looking on the page you posted about it but i couldn't see anything about the weird squid things that used to jump up and attack you from range, are those implemented again or not yet?

Rare fruit currently does nothing, its functionality was removed as it was no longer needed, but the item remains. You cannot get it outside of creative mode.
If it would actually look decent in-game, that's interesting. But, you can already slow other creatures by making them walk through normal webs.

Awesome, you can keep running that version, but remember it's unofficial, and the official update may have a version number less than the one you have installed.
As of right now you cannot change your skin yet, but you can use your Minecraft avatar's skin by setting "Use player skin?" to true in the config.

Anthills spawn naturally and cause ants to spawn at random. A stinger hurts any creature that falls on it.
Poison web cannot cocoon mobs - it only poisons them when it hits them or when they get caught in the web. Jack's lantern is a trophy for defeating him.
Noted the pathing issues with allies. Did they not teleport to you once you were a certain distance away?
