I want you to imagine something. I want you to imagine a world we are not part of, a world in which humans are but a distant memory, where animals run rampant and alpacas are the dominant species.
Hard to imagine? - Don't worry, this mod does it for you!
Introducing,
Alpaca Evolution is a mod that changes your game both functionally, and aesthetically. What this basically means is that the aesthetics of the mod works on servers, without the server itself needing to have the mod installed.
When you start out, you won't be an alpaca. As of version 1.2, you have to eat faces to maintain your alpaca form. Faces drop when you kill villagers.
If you want other players on multiplayer servers to appear as alpacas even if they're not, like it used to be prior to version 1.2, don't worry! If you go ingame and press O (configurable in the controls menu), you will open the Alpaca Evolution mod options gui. Enabling force-render from there will have the desired effect. Can be toggled on/off whenever.
As alpacas, to differentiate the players, all alpacas have a unique fur color depending on their Minecraft username. The color will always remain the same, and will only change if you change your Minecraft username.
Hunger
With being an alpaca, come some changes to the hunger system. You can no longer regain hunger bars or saturation by munching on, for example, a steak or a porkchop. In order for your appetite to be sated you must eat entire mobs, not just parts of them. "So how do I eat mobs?", you may ask. Technically, you don't You eat their corpses.
I know, I know it sounds absurd, but stick with me here.
Modded or not, whenever a mob gets killed by an alpaca, they will leave their corpse behind. These corpses despawn after 2 minutes or when you restart your game. Hit the corpse to get rid of it, and it will drop xp like normal.
However, if you right-click on it, you eat it, and refill your hunger. Corpses tend to have a darker tint.
Creeper massacre hehe
Momentum
As an alpaca, sprinting will make you gain momentum. The amount of momentum you have is displayed in the bottom-left corner.
The more momentum you have, the higher you will jump and the further enemies will be knocked back when you hit them.
Licking
Pressing C while an alpacawill shoot out your tongue. Pressing C again will retract it.
All mobs (including players) hit by your tongue will get attached to it. This way, you can drag around mobs using your tongue.
If I helped you in any way or agree in my ideas or posts, make sure you click that green arrow pointing up below my post or simply huggle me! I use 1.7.10 (Modded), so when I comment that I like a 1.8 mod, I will comment to downgrade to 1.7.10. I support no pics, no clicks. Suggestions that I think that are the best deserves a banner!
It is almost time to say goodbye to 1.7.10 because of the recent surge of big 1.9 mods.
Why MCreator sucks: jcm2606's file (doesn't open a new tab) He allows/welcomes anyone to link the file, so I put it here in my signature for people to know how MCreator functions. I thank jcm2606 (he's awesome) for creating the document/file and I'm just here to spread the word.

The colors are based on the hashCode of your username, meaning it depends on what letters/numbers are used how many times and in what combination. You can read more about it here.
