I really love this map mod, if possible on the entity radar could you add an option to see chests on the minimap? it would be really helpful with finding dungeons and hidden chests, plus i cant find any mod for this that supports 1.10. if you could do this it would be amazing

i dont think it would, its no different than being able to see dropped items or items in frames. plus it can be turned off if the player doesnt wanna use it, same as the other entity radar options.
I recon you get rid of adfly and use a different URL shortener....Microsoft has now blocked it cause most of the ads it displays are for viruses/worms/torjans

Adf.ly is the safest of all similar URL shorteners. Microsoft hasn't blocked it lol.
* Waypoints will now save to separate files for each world in the "mods/XaeroWaypoints/" folder. You will keep all your existing waypoints. This should improve performance if you have a lot waypoints on multiple worlds. The old waypoints file will be also backed up in the old location (config folder), just in case.
* Fixed waypoints transfer function not transfering some waypoint attributes.
hey dude. um I'm playing on the 1.10.2 version with ur minimap mod, and i logged on today and i couldn't see my waypoints

This happens to me just about everytime I quit the game. All my waypoints disappear. The files stay, but the client doesn't recognize the file, therefor not loading back any of my waypoints. This is on a server, by the way.
Great mod, very funtional. I haven't played much since 1.10 released. i am running a LAN game with forge installed. The teleport and waypoint features dont work because players dont have permission. I cant seem to find a permissions mod that works for 1.10.2 that isnt bukkit. If anyone can point me in the right direction, I would greatly appreciate it! thanks

Thanks! Try enabling cheats when opening world to LAN.
I am not seeing any waypoints running 10.10.2 on a mac the waypoints seem to have transferred them correctly to the individual files but isn't loading them in and they are not saving anywhere either, after restarting minecraft any new waypoints are gone.
also if xaerowaypoints.txt.backup already exists forge crashes.

Loving this mod. Originally I was using your Craftable Waypoints mod as I like the minimap and waypoints to be something you have to earn/craft vs just have when the world loads. The only thing missing was a minimap and the fact I can't toggle the Craftable Waypoints from displaying.
Then I discovered this mod. I've used MCCreator (ya I know) to create a mod with a single item, the GPS, which I've made to be required in the hotbar for the minimap to work. (I really love that feature)
This makes the minimap and waypoints something you have to work towards. All good except for the teleport feature. This is on a server and I have a few people who have OP status, which means they have unlimited use of the teleport feature....something which I do not want. I was wondering if you'd consider a config option to disable this?
Edit: Just realized I can change the TP command in the server's config file. This should break the ability for people to use the TP function....and I can live with the command error in chat.

Uhhhh did something happen to the entity radar in the latest version? I haven't played in a couple days and didn't notice that in the settings the entity radar settings say "ON [OFF]". Is this intentional?
If anyone is interested, I created a little mod that adds in a GPS item. It's just an item to use as the required hotbar item for Xaero's Minimap. I wanted something a little more 'techie' than a compass. Full disclosure, when I say I created it, I used MCCreator (don't judge me, can't code). But I did make the graphic file. The line to add into the config is - minimapItemId:gpsitem:GPS
I did put in a basic vanilla recipe for the GPS but I plan to actually make it harder to acquire by using some mod items If you want to change the recipe, use something like CraftTweaker.

Curse PremiumGo to mod settings (press Y ingame) and check if waypoints are enabled. There is a toggle key binding which you might have pressed and disabled them.
