Are you guys going to ever change Dilophsaurus? I'm just asking, but he is way to big compared to the movie, and I want animations from him that make him seem like a small jumpy lizard. I know you guys are probably going to do this, I'm just putting it out their.

so we've figured out what seems to be the cause of the tail bugs. Those of you who are experiencing this bug are using damage indicators mod. From experience I know that damage indicators doesn't play nice with animated mobs. Usually it doesn't actually affect the mob itself, but this time it seems to be causing the tail to freak out.

But Kash! I had Hippomaster's mods and Damage Indicators, and the Sea Serpent from Aquatic Abyss was multiple entities and had sophisticated tail animations, and nothing happened to it!

It's not the FACT that it has advanced animations, it's HOW the advanced animations work. The sea serpent works very differently from our mobs, and by chance it happens to work fine with damage indicators.
I'm having a problem with the morph mod. When you morph into any animal from this mod its invisible. I tried it with almost all of them and all invisible animations or not.

And switching Tylo to the old AI gave it that tail freaking out bug when you have DM.
Bit of a weird question perhaps but how do you clone prehistoric mammals? I've gotten to the point that I have 100% dna of a mammal but now i'm lost as to how to "hatch" it.
Any help is appreciated.
You put the dna into the cultivator and do everything as you would for a dinosaur dna
and then after 100 or seconds you'll get a syringe. Take it, make sure you have a cow, pig, or sheep in a closed enclosure. And then right click the syringe into the mob and monitor progress via dinoPad

you download forge and install it. you download the mod. make a folder called mods in your .minecraft folder, drag the mod in. done.
