I did not mean, that EC3 is not responsible for the crash, I meant to tell, that the crash it not directly EC3's fault, it is a problem in MC's code. The problem sure is triggered by the quarry. It still needs a fix and I will provide it. I hope, that it is more clear now

Ah, thank you for the clarification. The way I read that I thought you meant that something else might have been the cause(I was in the middle of testing if it was a weird interaction between JABBA barrels with the void upgrades and the Phantom hands ritual.
Edit: and now, weirdly, the crash is till happening or a new one has started. Either way, here is another log. Not sure why it has change, all I did was upgrade two barrels.

What's the best way to get the Essentialcraft API? Do I need to grab it from your github, or is there another place where it's available? I ask because I have an idea for an Applied Energistics and Essentialcraft crossover mod. Some ideas I have include:
ME Radiation & ME Magician terminals - The magician table and radiation chamber now available as an ME terminal.
MRU relay interface - Acts as a P2P tunnel for MRU. (Similar to the vis relay interface from thaumic energistics.)
ME magical assembler - Allows you to autocraft EssentialCraft items from a ME terminal.
MRU vibration chamber - Takes magical slag and MRU to generate power for your AE system depending on the balance of the MRU power.

Those would be usefull, especially the auto-crafting(just due to the way recipes are - they are pretty complicated). The AE power generatin might not be as usefull, it just would be better to simply add MRU -> AE converter, as it is done for RF,EU,J,RC's power and other energy types.
It is the best to use git to grab the API, since github contains latest sources of EC3.
Hello, I'm not too far into essential craft 3 yet, but I'm excited to get into it. As a huge witchery fan, I have seen that mod author's Hand of Death be able to bypass any armor and deal damage directly to health. I'm not sure if it's offensive to suggest you be similar to him, but the ι ring does not bypass armor quite like the Hand of Death does. Also, the ζ Amulet might be more effective if it disabled knockback when attacking. (I don't know if that can be overwritten on the sword's knockback or not.) Thank you for your interesting mod and I look forward to it's development!

It is not offensive in any way to suggest new features
the ι ring is not supposed to bypass armor. Read the description carefully - it deals 10% of your damage as unblockable. Unblockable damage means, that it is not reduced by most regular armor and Resistance potion effect, but it is still reduced by Protection enchantment and some armor from mods. Unlike void, or even health removal.(Void is a damage type dealt to the player when he is falling from the world, bypasses armor and even creative, health removal is not even a damage - it is just setHealth(getHealth()-x)). I suppose, that the Hand of Death does damage exactly by using health removal.
Please, correct me if I'm wrong, but the ζ amulet is the one, that allows you to attack as fast as you can click, right? There are way too many baubles for me to remember them all
It is sure possible to negate sword's knockback, but it would make the amulet a tiny bit less balanced - some people like knockback on their weapons no matter what. It would also make it super efficient against everything, pretty much, since you could just click everything to it's death, where with the current knockback it requires you to get closer, and possibly put yourself into danger if there are a lot of enemies.
I heard in the Thaumcraft IRC channel about your new mod, Thaumic bases. Two major criticisms raised were on textures and the inclusion of Tobacco. Going over it myself, here is my opinions.
First, the enchantment research entries need to be redone slightly. Have one new research branch off "Infusion enchanting" called "New possibilities". Have this research outline that you have hit a breakthrough, giving the "Magic touch" enchantment as well. Have all of the others branch off this, with information about the respective enchantments in the same place as the recipe for it. Just ends up looking cleaner and being more user-friendly.
Next up, I would personally altar the Tobacco stuff a bit. Sticking with the "Bathhouse" theme of Sanity soap, I would go with something like incense. Place it in world, stay near it and slowly build up the effect so long as the incense lasts, to a point. Might sound a bit to much like MRU corruption, who knows.
For "Ore destruction", I'd nerf it down to eight shards instead of twelve. Twelve just seems silly.
For the "Advanced alchemical furnace", I'd nerf the speed to twice that of a normal furnace, cut the buffer of the furnace down to ten(So it can only process simple things), and make it require the use of allumentum as a fuel. Gives reason to not use it over the normal alchemical furnace so it isn't a flat upgrade, and allows the player to want to move on to the vanilla TC Advanced Alchemical furnace.
Spelling error in "Pyrofluid" entry. The first crystallize has an "S" instead of a "C".
In "", "Transducer" in on the second page is spelled "Dranducer"
The "Bright" focus needs to cost a primordial pearl. Vanilla TC offers a way to buff node brightness up to bright using pearls, however this is a little risky and luck is involved. Also, triple the time the process takes
For that matter, you might consider making node control itself need a pearl. That would provide a late game thaumaturge the means to tweak his nodes, but for most of the game you still need to hunt or make the right ones.
I'd remove the ability for normal bonemeal to work on your crops. Hoe of growth effect perhaps, but not normal bonemeal.
Keep in mind, these are just the opinions of a Madman. I still need to playtest everything in a survival world, see how they stack up. Thankfully after seventy or so hours of running, my magical quarry digging out a 266x266 area has finished, so I have a location to move into and start building up TC infrastructure
I also have plans on spending a day pounding at Essential craft with my own personal "Bug and balance testing Sledgehammer". I fear you may have a lot of reports from me on that day, considering everything I've found so far has been without actually trying very hard.

Question not the mad-mans ways, for you may begin to see logic in his actions, then find yourself mad as well.
You may call me The Madman, as there is no name that suits me better.

Thanks for the suggestions! Textures sure need some reworking. The point on the furnace is good, it needs a nerf. Did not know, that vanilla TC adds a way to brighten the nodes with the primordial pearl. If that is the case - sure, will make the recipe based off the pearl. Bonemeal already does not affect most crops, just some of them.
Thanks for the bugtesting suggestion! It would be great, since then I could finally fix most of the bugs there sure are

Thanks for taking this feedback. I should point out the vanilla TC way to brighten nodes consumes the Primordial Pearl and adds a chunk of primal aspects to the node. Exchanging the consumption and primal boost for a slow, infinite use focus seems somewhat fair.

It spawns fine, starts playing the music and usually starts with the boss doing a couple of orbital strike attacks but crashes shortly after that. Judging from the crash report, it happens when it enters the "ArmorDestroyer" attack pattern.
If you want I can also file an issue on GitHub for this, but I wanted to run this through you here first in case it's an error that's already been fixed in later versions or isn't even your mod's fault.
Nope, my mistake - using Client-sided functions. Already corrected, the fix will be available in a couple of minutes. Actually, FTB's version is 208, where the latest is 223 anyway, but still...
EDIT: Fixed, you can grab the latest version from the usual curse page
Nice, thanks for the quick fix! I'll also report this issue on FTB so this patch can hopefully be included in an upcoming version.
This reminds me of another issue I'm having though (completely slipped my mind earlier, sorry). I can't seem to switch between weapon recipes in the Weapon Bench. The button is disabled and I could find no way at all to enable it. The book provides no information on the topic other than that the >>>-Button is supposed to switch between recipes. I can craft the Pistols fine, but it won't let me do Assault Rifles, Snipers or Gatlings.
I also tried looking it up in your spotlight, where the button also is disabled, but you guys just seem to put down a couple of benches that all automatically have the appropriate recipe.
I even had a quick glance at the source, but all I could find is that the button is disabled by default when added to the GUI and is then never re-enabled (at least not from the GUI class).
Is there something I'm missing?
The button is disabled due to client-server sync issues - pressing it had like 1/60 chance of crashing the presser, which is not good. To switch between benches just put the bench in your crafting window - it will get changed to the next weapon type, which will be displayed in the description of your workbench.
I've been messing around a bit with the "Ember forge", trying to get some use out of all the ember that has been piling up. Any tips or hints you can give about using it, as I have only worked out a few things so far.
Mixing and matching foci and ember seems to have a far grater effect then just having one of that type.
The sword will take on two foci for a primary and secondary effect.. How it determines which is which is unknown, and it sometime has a "Combined" tag instead.
The effects of ember seem hard to track down.
Two things I'd like to know are if the process has any RNG in terms of weapon creation, and some tips for getting the most out of my investment. Some of the special effects seem nice, but pure damage is my current priority in order to deal with all the blights running around.

Question not the mad-mans ways, for you may begin to see logic in his actions, then find yourself mad as well.
You may call me The Madman, as there is no name that suits me better.

There is a full list of effects for each ember somewhere in my code, but players are supposed to experiment with them - thats why there are so many of them in Hoanna
In case you do want to see all the list - you can look up here
I know, the code is rather hard to understand, but in fact - there are lines like
allEmbers.contains("acid") && allEmbers.contains("chaos")
well, that means a combination of embers with names "acid" and "chaos" will produce us
ret.add("Damage +4");
a +4 damage modifier.
Fire = Smouldering
Flame = Burning
All others names are identical.
I might create a full list of combinations at some point, but it takes some time, and also players are not really supposed to know about this.
A sword will take the most common Focus and set it to it's blade, like 3 wind focuses and 1 fire will produce you a sword with Wind Blade and Fire Guard and handle. However, sometimes you will end up with mixed, which is random, but is pretty rare. Most likely the sword will be created as stated above.
The only RNG controlled part is for choosing the Blade/Handle, but that might be controlled aswell by clearly specifying what foci will be used for what part(3 - 1, where 3 is for the blade and 1 is for the handle).
I do not remember there being a pure damage modifier on any of the embers, but the 42 dmg sword + strength 2 will do nicely even without pure.
The most strong mixes of ember include:
Smouldering + Burning embers give +11 dmg
Crystal + Divine give +9 dmg
Common + Chaotic give +7 dmg but also self-dmg
Crystal + Magic give +7 dmg
Acid + Burning give +8 dmg
Smouldering + Divine give Strength
Also, Wind blade has the most damage of them all, if it is also a handle block gives you strength. However, Earth might be the best handle - gives resistance on blocking.
And anyway, the best dmg you can achieve with a sword is around 46, it may be around 180 with the Damage buff from mods like HEE, and around 60-80 with default Strength 2 Buff.
However, I might not remember that correctly, that code was written half a year ago, I might have mixed some things up.

Alright, thanks for this information. While I am fine with experimentation, I tend to prefer having some sort of "Starting point". An example would be saying "It seems that mixing ember types unlocks their true power, adding bonuses and effects based on the combinations." Some information to work with, to know how I should be experimenting and what to be looking for,
Oh, and that reminds me. Seems like you left some Debugging code in the Charging chamber, as I noticed it outputting a lot of "True" statements to the console when I inputted an elemental sword. Also noticed this
[16:23:04] [Client thread/WARN]: Unable to play unknown soundEvent: minecraft:random.fuse
When the ember forge starts up.
EDIT: Seems like elemental swords can be enchanted. That means my new twenty seven damage sword can be buffed up to around thirty nine damage with enchantments(Sharpness and Wrath, both pure damage incenses across the board). I plan on using Infusion enchanting to add Sharpness, wrath, and looting then buffing all of them with the Overchanting table. Add in a strength two, or even a strength four potion, and I should be able to handle any Blights I meet in the outer lands.
While I'm here, a few questions about the "Eldritch bane" enchant. What is the damage modifier, and what entities does it effect? If it is the same as Smite, and only worked on the Eldritch Guardians, then Smite would be better in every way. Same damage boost, and smite would work on more then just Guardians(They are classed as "Undead", so smite works on them).
EC3 is a cool mod but in a server of daybreaker v 1.0.2 i crashed because of the frozen mind effect with fastcraft and without mabye a bug in the version or because one of the mods in the modpack

Eldritch bane adds 5 damage when attacking eldritch creatures and endermen per level of enchantment. It is not a damage modifier, but is just a flat damage increasement, applied before Potion Effects and crit modifier.

What do you guys think? Would this be useful?

It would be great, since then I could finally fix most of the bugs there sure are
public static Redirect[] accountsInDifferentPlaces = new Redirect[]{FTB,Technic,Youtube,GitHub,Curseforge};
Thanks for taking this feedback. I should point out the vanilla TC way to brighten nodes consumes the Primordial Pearl and adds a chunk of primal aspects to the node. Exchanging the consumption and primal boost for a slow, infinite use focus seems somewhat fair.

Could you please provide the full game startup log? It seems like the enchantments ftom TB were unable to load

Nope, my mistake - using Client-sided functions. Already corrected, the fix will be available in a couple of minutes. Actually, FTB's version is 208, where the latest is 223 anyway, but still...
EDIT: Fixed, you can grab the latest version from the usual curse page

There is a full list of effects for each ember somewhere in my code, but players are supposed to experiment with them - thats why there are so many of them in Hoanna
In case you do want to see all the list - you can look up here
I know, the code is rather hard to understand, but in fact - there are lines like allEmbers.contains("acid") && allEmbers.contains("chaos")
well, that means a combination of embers with names "acid" and "chaos" will produce us
ret.add("Damage +4");
a +4 damage modifier.
Fire = Smouldering Flame = Burning All others names are identical. I might create a full list of combinations at some point, but it takes some time, and also players are not really supposed to know about this.
Crystal + Magic give +7 dmg Acid + Burning give +8 dmg Smouldering + Divine give Strength

Please, provide a crashlog, otherwise it is impossible to help you.
Eldritch bane adds 5 damage when attacking eldritch creatures and endermen per level of enchantment. It is not a damage modifier, but is just a flat damage increasement, applied before Potion Effects and crit modifier.
