Getting this crash on my server when I try to use the multiworld selector. After pressing the button that says "Multiworld..." the game freezes then crashes a few seconds later. It worked the first time I used the button, but then I moved to another world and tried adding it and this happens.
I can't seem to teleport to waypoints. Other than that, this is pretty much the ultimate map mod now. I used to have this and mapwriter installed, but this latest version is amazing with a nice looking world map! Great job!
Not a working one anyway Just speculation really. I wouldn't mind getting it working, seems like a neat server. And with more than one report, I'll probably get to it some time. Will just have to think of a way to decide that supposedly empty chunks aren't legitimate. Will be a while though, headed out of town tomorrow
there is in fact more than one way to disable them, and you've been told about them. I'm sorry you can't figure it out, but at some point it's a waste of my time to try to help you any more. I have tested, and can confirm, that the color codes work, as does the preferred official method of using the ClientPermissions plugin. I'm happy to give out pointers to anyone who asks, but the amount of times I will do so per person declines when the person is belligerent or incompetent
on the server, the end (assuming your permissions system defaults to off, otherwise you'll need to set some permissions to negative, it's all detailed at the link). If you can't figure out any of those methods I'm really sorry but that's the last I'll discuss it with you
Maybe you have installed just one RealMotd plugin. So, what I think: you are check only first line of chat for getting MOTD, which doesn't contains this color codes. First line in chat of my server is "Your game mode has been updated", and only then MOTD. I won't to install one more plugins if it can be done with improvised means. Thanks for understanding me.
UPD: I use Essentials (plugins/Essentials/motd.txt)
Chainmail armor renders wrongly on Zombie Villagers still
no it doesn't. Why would you say that? Look at how it looks in game! try it with another resource pack too..
that's just what chainmail helmet looks like from the front in vanilla, and like with all the other helmets, I only render the forward facing faces (see sphax helmet below) so each helmet (minus leather, thanks to dye) is a single image. Don't feel like rendering one behind the head and one in front.
Now, what you may notice with certain texture packs (Sphax for instance): you'll see that helmets are broken on zombie villagers in Minecraft. The outer layer renders too low.
That might be on purpose, to "stretch out" the helmet to fit the zombie villager's larger head. Looks horrible though so I'll be assuming it is a bug and ignoring it for the radar
Is it possible to make an option to have a waypoint fade if I get within a certain proximity to it, say 10m or so?
not at the moment. that's not a bad idea. Been considering changing how they look in world anyway, perhaps showing their icon (especially now that there are choosable icons)
I can't seem to teleport to waypoints. Other than that, this is pretty much the ultimate map mod now. I used to have this and mapwriter installed, but this latest version is amazing with a nice looking world map! Great job!
teleport is only allowed in singleplayer if commands are enabled. You can enable them when you create a world, or later by opening to LAN and setting "allow cheats:on" (you don't actually need to have anyone else join)

that's a lot of mods loaded. The error shown is not in my code, but it could possibly be some bad interaction between the "choose multiworld" camera and some mod that changes player rendering. If you could narrow down which mod it is that would be great. You'd have to connect to a multiworld server that doesn't use those mods of course (mc.hypixel.net is nice). I'd run a bisect on it. Remove half, see if the problem occurs. If not, put them back and remove the other half. When you know which half it is, remove half of those etc. You can narrow it down to one fairly quickly that way.
So much easier to navigate for someone like me who get's lost in his own village I can't believe it's taken me so long to try it out! Having waypoints is amazing.
I can't find the option. I pressed "M". It's not there.
What am I doing wrong?
m for menu, radar, click button to turn on. Can also control which entities show there. If the radar button is greyed out, your server may have it disabled
so you're not going to help me by trying to figure out which mod it is? No I don't think I'll spend any time working around it then, assuming it's even my problem
so you're not going to help me by trying to figure out which mod it is? No I don't think I'll spend any time working around it then, assuming it's even my problem
Issue is, that it's on a Multiworld Forge server, removing half the mods means I can't connect to the server and test it. Running it in Single player doesn't work since there is no multiworld button. If it helps, the server is running Forge Essentials to create the multiworlds.

Thanks, I think it would be a nice feature add. One other thing I noticed is that when you view the large mini-map (X Hot-key by default) you cant close it with ESC, you have to toggle it with X again; but with the World Map (M Hot-key by default) you can't toggle it with M again, you have to hit ESC to close it. I dont know if this behavior can be changed but just wanted to mention its inconsistency in hopes that one day it might.

So I play on a server that has multiple map types and i was wondering what you need to know to make it so that Voxel doesn't try to use the same map files for each map.
The server is running Bungee Cord for the multiple servers.

Is it possible you are playing on a server, Eins?
I know on the servers I play on you can't but the single player you can...
Signs You're an Aging Gamer: You Press the "A" or "X" Button Rapidly During Loading Screens
Repodragon, I'm playing single player as far as I know.
He don't cheese! Baby, Baby! He don't cheese!
This Mod is awesome! VoxelMap is definally one of the best mods out there for 1.8!
thanks! Wish there were more mods for 1.8 but I know why there aren't
understood. It can wait. I don't make a huge deal out of my own stitcher because it's just one more thing to support haha

Read the post, there's a beta 1.8 liteloader.

He don't cheese! Baby, Baby! He don't cheese!
So I play on a server that has multiple map types and i was wondering what you need to know to make it so that Voxel doesn't try to use the same map files for each map.
The server is running Bungee Cord for the multiple servers.

thanks
Have you tried the MultiWorld button on the VoxelMap menu (M key) in the latest version? (1.5.10 at the moment)
Is there a .JAR for the 1.8 version of this mod? Id love to be able to load it with forge and all on my setup.
