is there anyway to get the sojourner staff to work with tinkers stone torches?
I... believe so. I've never tried it, but the Sojourner's Staff is set up to let you place more than just torches. You'll have to edit xreliquary.cfg in your config folder and add an appropriate entry (presumably the internal name for those stone torches) to the portion dealing with the Sojourner's Staff.
Assuming everything is working, you should then be able to switch modes between regular and stone torches (and maybe anything else you add to it) by holding shift and left-clicking, as with the Pyromancer's Staff and the Rending Gale.
no matter if i add the stone torch name to the staff section in the config it gets removed with each load. how do i switch this 'mode' i know that shift + right-clicking activates the staf to consume torches.

The Destruction Catalyst, like pretty much all the other items that have a material cost, now stores its charge internally, rather than drawing from your inventory when you use it. You need to sneak-right-click while holding it to "activate" it, and it will begin absorbing the necessary item from your inventory, and filling up its internal storage. There's a HUD now that shows you how much it's holding, and you can also see its stored charge by holding shift and pointing at it in your inventory.
In creative, it doesn't require charge. However, it looks like there's a bug where it takes charge anyway, meaning it can go negative.
Shift-Rightclick to toggle Suck Mode. This sucks all your XP orbs into itself, continuously. Shift and mouse over the item to see how many it currently holds. When the medallion is "off", you can rightclick it to get back enough XP orbs to gain 1 level. This item is currently slightly bugged, rightclicking with it in Suck Mode will add an extra XP orb to the total, and also it doesn't have a purple sheen to indicate whether it's on or not.
Has anything changed between the time of this post (April 29 2015) and now (September 19 2015)? None of the above works at all. Just mousing over it will show current total, though. But right-clicking with it accomplishes nothing. I don't know if it's supposed to take XP from your stored XP bar or from mob kills, but thus far it hasn't done either... help?
so im getting this after i deleted the libstone thing in my mods folder

So, I've been toying around with making a modpack of my own, focusing on exploration and building, and I thought of including Reliquary, but with a twist - none (or almost none) of the items would be craftable, but instead would be found in chests generated around the world - dungeon, stronghold, nether fortress, you get the idea. Right now, I can accomplish this using ModTweaker and FatherToast's Custom Chest Loot mod. (Hopefully) However, I'm still posting this here in hopes that x3n0 sees this and maybe makes a config option for this before I'm done, so I won't need to do this myself.
Yes, I'm a lazyass, but at least I shared a cool idea with you.

Sadly, Xeno's left the modding scene again and I have no idea if anyone's going to pick this back up any time soon. So for now, ModTweaker it is!
Has anything changed between the time of this post (April 29 2015) and now (September 19 2015)? None of the above works at all. Just mousing over it will show current total, though. But right-clicking with it accomplishes nothing. I don't know if it's supposed to take XP from your stored XP bar or from mob kills, but thus far it hasn't done either... help?
The last build is from the ninth of Febuary of this year. Nothing's changed. Are you holding the SHIFT key when you right click? Because you have to do that. Or it won't work. I only say because I noticed you didn't mention the SHIFT key when you talked about "right-clicking with it accomplishes nothing".
I... believe so. I've never tried it, but the Sojourner's Staff is set up to let you place more than just torches. Shift-leftclick. As with the Pyromancer Staff and Staff of the Rending Gale.
And I don't suppose you tried making the config read-only?
shift + left-clicking does nothing. the config is, and as far as i know, always been read-only.
Come check out my pack and tell me what you think.
The config auto-generates lists of things for the interdiction torches and seeking bullets to affect. It couldn't possibly be read-only by default.
Sorry guy. I've given you all the help I can. I'm just a guy who uses Reliquary and checks the thread once in a while.
lol, its ok thanks for your help.
Come check out my pack and tell me what you think.
I have an idea for the mod;
Item Name: Ender Hopper
Texture: You decide
What does it do: You select a non-player inventory then you select items(1-4) and as long as the selected items are in the selected inventory it automatically restocks them for you once you get to about 1 left.
Cost: You decide(I was thinking 1-6 Ender pearls or Eyes of Ender depending on distance and item)
Range: Infinite as long as the chunks are loaded
Drawbacks: The chunks the selected inventory is in need to be loaded in order for it to work and it does not work across dimensions plus it could randomly break.
Recipe: You decide but my idea was
[Eye of Ender] [Hopper] [Eye Of Ender]
[Iron Block] [Void Tear] [Iron Block]
[Obsidian] [Chest] [Obsidian]
Trying to use Destruction Catalyst but doesn't work in survival and I have a stack and a half of gunpowder in my inventory but I switched to creative mode and it worked just fine. Plz help me fix this bug im having

well why did you do that?
Come check out my pack and tell me what you think.
I wish this mod were in 1.8
I wish someone was still working on this mod. I also wish that people knew the rules of the forums forbid asking for updates.
Learn to read... I never asked..... I simply said I wish.... and Yes there is a difference in asking vs wishing....
Quick question for the frequents here: what do the nian zhu chains do? I've creeper, skeleton, and zombie- but have no idea what to do with them.
Lets say you wear the creeper one it'll make creepers ignore you
