Eating too much human/villager flesh might cause a Wendigo mob to appear, a powerful demon associated with cannibalism (I'd suggest looking it up) if you have summoned the Wendigo, then you might see/hear signs of it following, such as occasionally seeing animals/villagers randomly dying nearby without dropping meat, or hearing the Wendigo's roar. After about a day of Minecraft time, the Wendigo will suddenly appear and attack you. It is fairly strong and recommended you have decent armor when it attacks. The chance of summoning a Wendigo goes up every time you eat a piece of flesh, i.e. if you eat one piece of flesh, the chance goes up by 10%. If you eat another, it goes up 20%.
This is just a rough idea, but the mod seems interesting and it would be an original idea.
Sometimes when I try to use the knife on an animal, it doesn't work. The right click function, I mean. Like I got the craftable animals mod, I found a pig spawn, I spawn it on ground, try to use the right click function, but it just goes to shield(or block). But when I use the knife on myself, it works, but not on the animal itself. Is this a glitch? And is there a way I can fix it?
It's a glitch, it happened once during testing but didn't happen again after that. I'll see if I can get it fixed in the next update.
Edit: Did some testing, the knife seems to break if the player dies from knifing him/herself too much. Only solution I found, so far, would be to restart Minecraft.
I have not killed myself with the knife, but I have used the /kill command. But I still don't get how this glitch occurs from this occurance. Well, it's a glitch, and a glitch is a glitch. But do I really have to fully shut down minecraft? Or can I just exit out of my world?

I looked thought the code again and I think I found the problem. The knife had a cooldown period that relied on player ticks, if the current tick count subtracted by the last tick count is greater than 9 than the knife is free to be used on the animals again. My guess is that the player tick count got reset after death resulting in the knife having a long cooldown. I fixed that problem and will be releasing an update soon.
In the meantime, you could wait for the knife to finish its cooldown if you don't want to fully restart Minecraft. Sorry about that, I derped rather hard there.

I don't think the punishment is needed... or at least make it optional with a config option, I don't need 100 of those things spawning at my villager farm :/
Try lowering damage each knife. Ex: a diamond knife takes seven damage, but that with this update would take six, and so on. Modify the knife damage because the last time I played with this mod, both the diamond as the wood and this gave the same damage. That is intentional. Since a chunk of meat is getting sliced off, the affected entity will suffer a good amount of damage regardless of the knife materiel.
To put things into perspective (because I'm bad at explaining things >_>), getting a chunk of yourself cut off with a steel knife will not hurt more if you had used a sharper knife.

I would have add it, if the horse could drop its meat when killed. The leather serves as a by-product, I assume you would shave off the skin after slicing it off the animal which results in getting leather. It would apply to the other animals too, but I'm going by their vanilla drops - cows is currently the only animal that drops leather alongside its meat. Although there will be a option in the future that will let you choose which entity the knife can target along with their drops.
1.8 would probably come after I get all, or most, of the features in for the 1.7.10 version. Unless I decide it's taking too long.

I'm going to be honest, when I saw the name of the mod, what sprang to mind was sticking other players in cauldrons over fire or tied to a spit over fire to cook then eat them. Kind of sad that isn't at all what the mod is. Could you please add other, more "interesting" options for committing cannibalism? I want to tie my friend to a spit and cook him while on his screen he is spinning around and on his side. I'm not weird, your weird.

It's to enable the wedigo. It's a work-in-process so I don't recommend enabling it.
