Not mantle. You have too many mods and need to add -XX:MaxPermSize=128m to the launch options.
My game crashes when melting a few ores. It happened once when melting one of Metallurgy's ores but happened once again with vanilla's ores when removed.

So I don't see a link to a suggestion thread but I have one that I would very much like to see.
I would like two be able to put vanilla tools in the tool forge and see their mining speeds, damage, durability, and durability loss as well as bonus damage and mining speeds from vanilla enchants. This would be awesome for comparing gear. I already saw someone came up with 39 for a the mining speed of a diamond pickaxe efficiency V on it and pointed out that prior to adding the third modifier add and the hammer that it was better then any tinkers' construct tool and easier to make. mDiyo actually replied to the post saying he that was intentional but that he was adding a 3 third modifier and the hammer. mDiyo and whoever it was did that post both already know how to pull the information to display this.
It would also be cool if it covered the vanilla style Thaumcraft, thaumium tools and weapons since to me these are the most integrated into tinkers' construct and very commonly used.
Just wanted to say thanks to Boni for taking over the development of tinkers construct. Would have been a shame if such a great mod was left to disappear into obscurity.
Not sure if this question has been answered, but I just wanted to ask, are you going to be implementing some changes to TC from Iguana tweaks such as the ability to upgrade tools and retain all previous modifications?
Not sure if this has been fixed or not, but I just ran into a bug on my custom server where (by default) it only takes 1 ingot worth of molten Invar (an alloy from Thermal Expansion) to make an Invar Block which splits into 9 ingots, which can be melted down into 9 ingots of molten Invar, which makes 9 blocks, and so on...
I haven't tested this beyond Invar, but most base metals seem to work fine most of the time. If someone could run some tests on various metals from various mods to try and recreate this bug, that would be nice. I'm pretty busy myself to do some testing around... all I know is that it happens with Thermal Expansion Invar.
On another note; Boni, thank you so much for continuing this fabulous mod. You're awesome!
I get this crash every time I try to shift on a tool template

Well, you cut off the most important part of your crashlog, which is not useful in the slightest. If spoiler tags don't work for you, then try putting it on a website like pastebin and link it here.
I'm having a crash with Thaumcraft 4. Here's the report.

There is no suggestion thread because I don't really take suggestions. Planned things are planned, and otherwise most things that would have been implemented already are implemented.
Looks like some of your mods adds an alloy with zero output. Or you got errors.
Oh, well then... Sorry, thought I'd deduced it wasn't ExtraTiC's/Metallurgy's fault. Thanks for the help though, I'll disable that alloy properly this time.

There are quite a few metals that have this bug. Electrum, Lead, Silver and Invar. Might be more from other mods besides TE.
Edit: I have not tested the latest TiCon yet which the change log says that it fixes these ores (version d3.1). Maybe try that version.
The smeltery controller interface now has some weird placement of ores when more than what will fit in the window in placed in to be melted. Scrolling down makes it even more out of place. Anyone else seeing this?

Sorry for the long report, I tried to cut off some, because spoiler tags aren't working for some reason...

Just a hopeful addition.
Here is the link. mDiyo is the first reply:

It would also be cool if it covered the vanilla style Thaumcraft, thaumium tools and weapons since to me these are the most integrated into tinkers' construct and very commonly used.
Not sure if this question has been answered, but I just wanted to ask, are you going to be implementing some changes to TC from Iguana tweaks such as the ability to upgrade tools and retain all previous modifications?
I haven't tested this beyond Invar, but most base metals seem to work fine most of the time. If someone could run some tests on various metals from various mods to try and recreate this bug, that would be nice. I'm pretty busy myself to do some testing around... all I know is that it happens with Thermal Expansion Invar.
On another note; Boni, thank you so much for continuing this fabulous mod. You're awesome!
Well, you cut off the most important part of your crashlog, which is not useful in the slightest. If spoiler tags don't work for you, then try putting it on a website like pastebin and link it here.
why are you reporting a TC4 error in the TiCon page?
"Everyone Is Entitled To Their Own Sorrow, For The Heart Has No Metrics Or Other Forms Of Measure, And All Of It... Irreplaceable"
"Your Hopes Have Become My Burden, I Will Find My Own Liberation".
"Scathing Eyes Ask That We Be Symmetrical, One Sided And Easily Processed, Yet Every Misshapen Sparks An Unseen Beauty Greater Than Its Would Be Judgement".
Thaumcraft Thaumcraft Thaumcraft. Thaumcraft? Thaumcraft! Thaumcraft Thaumcraft.
Looks like some of your mods adds an alloy with zero output. Or you got errors.
Use at least the minimal version of Tinkers required for the Iguana Tinker Tweaks version you're using?
There is no suggestion thread because I don't really take suggestions. Planned things are planned, and otherwise most things that would have been implemented already are implemented.
No. ITT will stay separate, most of the stuff it does is quite fragile.
EDIT: Never mind, I went directly to curse forge and the downloads were there, but there's no 1.7.0d3 version?
Oh, well then... Sorry, thought I'd deduced it wasn't ExtraTiC's/Metallurgy's fault. Thanks for the help though, I'll disable that alloy properly this time.
Thanks. I'll try that as well.
There are quite a few metals that have this bug. Electrum, Lead, Silver and Invar. Might be more from other mods besides TE.
Edit: I have not tested the latest TiCon yet which the change log says that it fixes these ores (version d3.1). Maybe try that version.

My modpacks:
Brave New Worlds (exploration-based, FTB Launcher, pack code: BraveNewWorlds)
Song of the Earth (JamPacked 2, in development)
Yes I can confirm that Electrum, Invar, Lead and Silver are fixed in d3.1, but I did notice a rendering issue that I reported on Github.

The smeltery controller interface now has some weird placement of ores when more than what will fit in the window in placed in to be melted. Scrolling down makes it even more out of place. Anyone else seeing this?
