What astounds me is that people write mods and put them up on the internet for free download, then freak out when their mods are included in a modpack for even more distribution. The only reason they require permissions is arrogance at best, flat out ignorance at worst.

if you can't load a specific mod, it's probably because a mod update. but you're the only one telling me about this problem so i'm no sure.
also i'm obviously playing my modpack from v0.1.0 with all the updates with the same world and everything is fine.
from what update you was not able to play a specific world?

I've been playing since 0.4.5 it seems. World from that version didn't work in 0.4.6 and world from 0.4.6 doesn't work in 0.4.7. After I try to load it, "Loading world..." for a while appears and then screen goes completly white. First time I see this kind of problem...

That is just weird, because it does not happen to me.
for an optional fix, I can recommend you guys to put your world in the server files. it should work for the server (and then you can bring it back to the client)
Seems like a good modpack, would download it but i don't like using technic, please PM me if you make an alternate way to download it.
Although, do you have any idea when you might be making an alternate download? Just so i can know.
Also the TechnicLauncher going to update to v2, along with the TechnicPlatform (website) to v3. it's going to be so diffrent.

But yet when I generate a new map, I always find a huge taint area before I find magical forest. Anyone else seeing this behavior? Trying to figure if this is a Thaumcraft issue or how the modpack is stitched up.

So I changed my Thaumcraft configs and I disabled taint generation, speard, and nodes.
I flew about 5 to 10 minutes in creative mod and nope, no tait, just nothing. I guess it can be a problem with your setup, maybe you didn't save the configs? tell me if you got it right :]
If you had updated the modpack, that will return the configs to their original settings. You may have to change the settings again if you recently updated.
