How does one pipe an empty bucket out of the fuel slot of a crop planter? None of the side settings seem to allow things to be removed from that slot.
I suspect that, with the current version, you can only pull items out of the right-most 9 inventory slots (in the planter GUI). I just tried with hoppers, itemducts, and IO pipes (both with general settings and specifically filtering for an empty bucket) without success. Putting in a feature request for this is likely your next step.
Magical crops trouble: Planter does plant diamond seeds. But it doesn't harvest diamond seeds. It harvest only diamond essence. For one iteration I will have only dirt.
Can you fix it (for ALL seeds - not only diamond)? Thanx anyway

Correct. Currently making a fix to push the empty bucket into the inventory slots once used.

I have been playing with your mod recently and had a quick question. After searching all over the place, I was unable to find an answer. I installed this on a fresh forge install and was playing around with it. The planter never tills soil on its own. You must till it the first time before it will plant any crops. I've tested with dirt, coarse dirt, and grass blocks. I do have it set up right with the planter one level below the desired area for growth. Is this a bug or intended? In your videos, the planter automatically tills the soil and plants. This is with using minecraft crops(carrots, potatoes, and wheat). I have no other mods that add crops.

Thanks for the response!
In just wanting to be clear up-front, you did place a hoe into the planter machine and it still wasn't tilling the soil, correct?

Yes, I am placing a wooden hoe into the wooden planter. I did notice something last night though. On page one of this thread he has links for 1.7 and 1.8, but both links take you to a download for the same file which looks like 1.7. I am running forge on 1.8, so I'm thinking the mod may not be compatible with 1.8 yet. If this is the case, the thread should be updated to reflect this.

My modpack (SimpleTech) is also Minecraft 1.8 (running on Forge 11.14.1.1334) and features Progressive Automation without issues. The thread information is accurate.

I'm using an animal farmer, and I'm having trouble understanding how the range upgrades influence it. I know they don't act as a radius, but I don't understand if each one is just increasing the range by one in a spiraling shape or a straight line or what.

Spiral. So it takes 7 upgrades to make the initial 1 block radius.
I was trying to build a mob farm and it seems that the PA Killer is not doing the correct damage of the sword. It seems like its hitting without the sword (with hand). Also it doesnt pick up all the drops. I figured it might be happening cuz the mobs jumps when it gets hit and if it dies in mid air the drops arent picked up. I tried to make the mob stop jumping when it gets hit and it seems like that helped on picking up the drops. I also dont understand if the killer drops xp orbs. Most of the mob kills dont drop xp orbs but time to time (10/1) kills drop xp orbs. I have bunch of mods installed am i getting compatibility issues or does every1 has the same issue. I'm running MC 1.8 with 1.8-Forge11.14.3.1450
Forgot to mention that sometimes (10/4) the mobs drop through the floor block to the level of the PA killer
I don't want to add another mod just because the pipes, Becoz the other mod add more Ores and I am not a big fan of too much ores.
I Love This Mod because there are no Ores were added, but plz add some pipes
If you want basic pipes without adding anything else (like ores), and assuming you are working with Minecraft 1.8, I would recommend you take a look at the Hopper Ducts mod. Also, Flux Ducts will add a basic power conduit that is completely compatible with Progressive Automation as well.
TY for your advice, i have tried Hopper Ducts and it is great. but sadly, i'm doing skyblock on 1.7.10 and the Flux Ducts not support 1.7.10 of minecraft, do you have any mods that i can Use
Let's
say I've got an active wooden miner with a wooden pickaxe. After mining
some stone, it encounters some iron ore. Will the machine stop, just
skip the iron ore and continue below or mine the iron ore but not get
the drop?
Suggestion: Allow other types of blocks except cobbelstone to be used as filler?
In my current world I use lots of cobble to build stuff but I have insane amounts of "usless" sandstone and those three new types of stone, granite etc, laying around. It would be great if I could use one or all of those as filler mats in the Miner.
Maybee a config thingy with a list of blocks that are accepted as filler block, default is ofc only cobble.

Possibly building on this... does the miner dig up existing cobblestone (using fuel and wear on tools), to replace it with cobblestone, or is it intelligent enough to recognize its preferred "filler" and simply move on? And if it isn't that smart, I would like to put in a feature request to make it so.

is this mod compatible with jurassicraft/fossils and arcyology?
