I can now confirm that I have the latest version and am having this issue(s) this is just a screenshot I got of it...
That is strange indeed. I think one of your mods must be conflicted somewhere but I have no idea how it is possible.
The frame part of the Rusty Hatch is actually a block (as opposed to the door and handle that are TileEntity), and a simple and straightforward way of rendering. Once it's rendered, it shouldn't even be able change without a block update around.

It could be one of my mods... so I'll either have to live with it or endure checking all my mods... :s

On a side note... maybe less of a side note more of a detail... It appears and disappears when I interact with redstone or blocks around it, for instance, the border and ladders are already missing, I break a block touching the door, suddenly all the ladders and the hatch's border suddenly re-appear and then disappear again... idk if it means much...
crash, while using "Malisis Doors 1.4.3" with "Better Fonts".
That's happening with opening containers from this mod. Both single and multiplayer. Server side staying well.

Yes, it's already fixed locally and will be available for the next update.
Um I have a problem with it but I'm not sure whats wrong with it :I
Please help!
It is, for once, not cause by MalisisDoors, and it's not a "Install Java 7" issue either (which is refreshing :p).
However, I don't know what is the problem, but it looks like your Forge is faulty, so I would advise to reinstall it, hoping it'll go away by itself.
If problem persists, maybe try launching with Java 7 instead.
If that fails too, then you will need to ask Forge specialists directly (#minecraftforge on EsperNet)
I have tried this but it hasn't worked. Thanks for trying. But it seems that one or two mods weren't agreeing with each other! Thank you for helping me!
Ah, I know what's wrong. I thought it was Forge having an issue, but in fact, it's because you put a 1.8 mod in your mods folder. Remove it and you should be good. (I should have noticed that sooner)
Sometimes vanilla doors are not able to open/close or enter. Both villagers and I are stuck(yeah when it goes wrong I can see many villagers surround the bad door). But the door works like normal if I remove it by axe and put it back(sorry for those who have hurt by my axe...I mean, put me down the iron bad guy!-__-||). This thing happens totally random. Usually one or two doors of my village go wrong, and often nothing happens for many (real) days.
I'm using the latest version of this mod and core mod. Although it does not only happen on the latest version.
Ignore the random glitch, all doors from this mod are practical and nice, thanks for your mod, best doors ever!

I've had multiple reports of broken doors, but I never managed to encounter the problem myself to have a go at fixing it :'(
I solved the problem with not having a current dev release of malisiscore by building it my self from the source.
But could I make some suggestions for some small features.
Add a maxStackSize property to DoorsDescriptor so it's possible to make custom doors that stack.
Also make it possible to specify the number of doors crafted with the crafting recipe in DoorDescription.
Both these are to be able to bring 1.8 functionality into 1.7.10.
I didn't realise you wanted the dev version.
Both versions are available on Maven though, so if you're making a mod, a simple line in your build.gradle should fix it.
As for the suggestions, I will consider it. I made the whole door system so it's relatively easy for other to implement it, but so far, no one has been willing to use it.
I'm glad you're interested in using MalisisDoors, so feel free to hop in #malisis chan on EsperNet if you need anything.

Update your Optifine and Forge. I use the latest of both and do not have this problem.
First you need to say what your Problem is
Drop it into your mods folder like all the rest? You need forge.

That's how they look. Great job, again, on the mod.

I'm going to do a couple experiments with custom doors.
