If he edits the glowstone light, he'll edit the torch light at the same time. They use the same light "type". He can't individually fine tune the different light source intensities.
Huh. I should've looked at the code first. It's probably easy to separate the two though.

He has separated torch (itemid 50) and glowstone (itemid 89) to have independent light values. It's in composite.vsh.
does this shader pack work for 1.7.2? or just 1.6.4 and 1.7.10, cause I tried it with 1.7.2 and it crashed instantly, just like every other thing. I use an Intel Graphic Card Core i7. I tried it because it said it is compatible with Intel cards, i dont know if this is a missunderstanding. If you would like, add me on skype!

Your issues are both the same, it's not so much the shaderpack that is the problem, it is the Intel Drivers that are the issue. Any driver version ending in 34XX or 36XX cause this error.
Download the 32-bit or 64-bit version of the driver (3345).
Go to Control Panel & Programs and Features. Look for Intel Graphics. Click on it, and uninstall. Reboot if needed. Then install the drivers that you downloaded.
A note: this will in no way harm your computer. Windows 8/8.1 likes to say that the download is 'untrustworthy' because it doesn't have a digital signature. It's fine.
Uninstall my original Graphics Driver? If anything goes wrong, im going to need a graphics driver that I know for sure works, am I able to just like....Disable it temporarily and turn it back on when I need it?

Yes, download the graphics driver from the page I linked, uninstall your old (which is newer) one from Programs & Features, reboot if needed, and install the one you downloaded.
You can't disable your video card (or graphics driver) or anything like that. PCs don't work that way....
It won't hurt anything at all. It's just like upgrading your graphics driver (or network/audio/etc), just the other way around, you have to take the new one off first.

Eh idk whats going on but when i look at a certain degree i get a big white line it happens with all of the texture packs i use and stuff ?? Help please.
Hm this is a pretty old bug, are you sure you downloaded the latest version here? (1.05 / 1.051). Try the latest lite version of 1.051, if you want to use the medium version or higher go into final.fsh and disable lens flare.

Neither this or the another shaders does work on my game. I'm playing one hundred percent vanilla 1.7.2, I can run Fancy on 40 - 60 FPS (I guess that's enough for a basic shaders?) and it always get me the same message:

What kind of graphics do you have? Intel amd or nvidia? Mac or PC? Onboard or dedicated?
Hello hello! I've followed the directions on the install and cannot get Basic Shaders v1.04 Motion Blur to download. It keeps saying 'Decompression Failed' and when i try to manually unzip it it says 'Not a directory' . I'm on an older Mac OS X 10.7.5. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
The version is 10.18.10.3643, updated 06/11 this year.
Processor: Intel Celeron CPU 1007U 1.50 GHz 1.5 GHz (lame processing power, I know).
And no, it's only the Intel HD. Not even the graphics card is Nvidia. It is also Intel HD Graphics, I just can't find the version/type.

It's a miracle, I suppose. I run on Fancy, medium distance, 40 - 60 FPS normally. With game booster, it hits 80. I have Opti-Fine. I also have a premium system cleaner here, and it really helps with the computer performance. Also, it's dual-core and x64, and if I begin using multi-core chunk loading and x64 Java it probably could boost to 70, 80 and peaking 120. Yeah.
Running Vanilla without shaders? (since he had crashing Intel drivers and couldn't use shaders) Doable.
Works perfectly. I now have a feeling of how shaders are. This ain't the thing, but it does the trick. It runs on 30 - 40 FPS with fast loading, that's without gamebooster. It doesn't work with SEUS, though. Heh. Thanks a lot, though, it's really nice to have some better shades on this game.
I had like, 30 mods, at a point and my PC couldn't bare it, even on the fast settings. It hitted 20, 30 and 40 FPS, which was painful. I'm playing Vanilla to get used to Minecraft back again, and then I'll mod my game once again.

Huh. I should've looked at the code first. It's probably easy to separate the two though.
He has separated torch (itemid 50) and glowstone (itemid 89) to have independent light values. It's in composite.vsh.
Your issues are both the same, it's not so much the shaderpack that is the problem, it is the Intel Drivers that are the issue. Any driver version ending in 34XX or 36XX cause this error.
Your resolution is to go here:
http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/intel-hd-graphics-driver-download.html
