I have noticed in the dev build that everyone can see the channels in the dimensional transceivers now. even the private ones. I wasnt aware if you were aware of it. I do understand its a dev build, the gas conduits work great it would be cool if they would work like the ender liquid ones and allow multiple gasses as well.

I've never been too into IndustrialCraft2, so I'll go along trusting people saying it's better to just use EnderIO. But does that mean it makes everything in that mod obsolete? If they both can accomplish the same tasks, I'd prefer to only use 1 of the 2, siding with EnderIO.
I have, though, been a fan of Thermal Expansion and MineFactory Reloaded, but I've heard people also say that EnderIO can accomplish the things those mods offer as well. I have been wanting to make a modpack that offers many things to do with a fairly small amount of mods; so when it comes down to all these, is it best to only use EnderIO?
Also I've heard stuff about Extra Utilities...not sure what exactly, but people have sometimes compared that mod in this whole mix... anyone care to help me out?

Each of those mods is very different from any of the others, which one(s) you choose to use depends on the end goal of the pack you are trying to create. There is no simple answer to this, just go and test them out and see which ones you like more.

nothing in any mod will ever make ic2's machines obsolete, just try to find something faster than a macer/electric furnace with 16 speed upgrades, it does not exist.

i keep making the same mistake, i think "oh, i've given them a few months, surely it'll be fixed by now" THAT is why i seem to ALWAYS be angry to some of you, my advice is to get the lead out.
there were nice things here, until the mod author threw a tantrum.

I used to love IC2, but it's gotten far too absurd, with certain machines being used to make only one or two items, some of them things you might only need one of in a world. The complexity used to be something I loved, but it's gotten to be too much.
Ender IO's SAG mill, once it is fully upgraded, can produce more, faster, than what can be made with the set of 3 similar machines (macerator, ore washing plant, thermal centrifuge) in IC2. However, IC2 has the drill and chainsaw, which are both really amazing.
We're about to add Extra Utilities to the small, private server I run. It has a few nifty features that Ender IO doesn't have (some cool generators, colored bricks, and a few other random things) but there's a LOT of overlap (pipes, etc.) Honestly, I think Extra Utilities makes for a good addition to mods like IC2 that have all the machines but none of the automated item transportation.
I've looked into some of the features of the other mods you mentioned, but I haven't used them yet.
Speaking of which, Thank you for the suggestions, 6210classick ^_^.

the sag mill is second place behind ic2 anyway, no clue why you think it compares, probably running it on LV incorrectly or something equally silly, it's far slower, the thing that puts it in second place however is the extra byproduct when grinding coal ore and the like though, there's a few places where thermal expansion gets you an ingot or two extra but overall the sag mill is the best.

if you are the admin server try deleting "enderio" folder from your world folder and re-create the channels
about the gas conduit you can just connect another one to a different side of the machine since each type of conduits can occupy the block space
I deleted the enderio folder and it still does not hide private channels. everything else works like a charm tho. Are you thinking about introducing different tiers of gas conduit like the other conduits?
you mean making 250 millibuckets bucket of say hootch using 1 beef + porkchop ? if so then yep i think 0.25 is correct
however certain items have a multiplier and that can affect it so make sure to change all items multiplier to 1 if you want 250 millibuckets every time

I had a question about ender zoo, mainly about the dire slime. There's no spawn egg for a dire slime, but there is one for a Khalegh Shrakfo or something like that. It acts like a slime, but looks like a dirt block and doesn't drop anything. Is it supposed to be like that?
Have a bit of a problem: for some reason, the Pressurized Liquid Conduits stopped working. They're just filled and doing nothing. I've tried removing and replacing them, but it still happens. I'm playing FTB Infinity 1.8.2 (for MC1.7.10). Could really use some help here as I'm baffled as to what's causing this.
EDIT: Also, happens with Buildcraft Fuild Transport Pipes. All the pipes
tested were attached to a Killer Joe. I have Pressurized pipes
connected to other things and they work OK, so I think there's a bug with
EnderIO where it's items are concerned.
Ender Tech has been updated so i recommend that you manually update to the latest version
also try setting the Pressurized Liquid Conduits that are connection to the tank to Insert only or switch to the Ender Liquid Conduit
PS : you don't need to store Liquid XP in tanks because a single Killer Joe can hold almost infinite amount of it or store it in the Experience Obelisk
I didn't try the Ender pipes yet as there was only the single liquid and the tank ends were already set to Insert Only. Will get that update and see if it helps.

sorry bro am not the the developer of the mod , you can try suggesting in EIO github page
How do you open the item conduit's GUI?
Crouch-right click on the square part attached to the inventory, or crouch-left click with the yeta wrench on the little junction node.
This game is so oreing.
Question about custom vat recipes:
To make one quarter bucket per cycle, I can set the multipliers of the two item stacks to 1, and the fluid stack to 0.25, yes? Like so:
<itemStack modID="minecraft" itemName="beef" slot="0" multiplier="1"/>
<itemStack modID="minecraft" itemName="porkchop" slot="1" multiplier="1"/>
<fluidStack name="water" multiplier="0.25"/>
This game is so oreing.

not sure but i think that the Dire Slime is the nickname of Khalegh Shrakfo and yes they do not drop anything AFAIK
