What Forge are you using? I'm on 1408 and it's working fine for me. Also, do you have Optifine? That could always cause issues.
i am using forge 10.13.2.1291 and yes I am using optifine but when playing minecraft with mods on my computer it is pretty much necessary because i have a pretty bad computera and getting a new one is out of the question UPDATE: I took out optifine and ran minecraft and the text still will not show up! and I checked minecraft forge and my version of forge 1.7.10 is the recomened version

I wasn't going to say get rid of it. I just honestly use FastCraft on my computer. You might need to update your Forge and Optifine anyway because this update is also updated to the new fluidstack version of Forge.

Fastcraft is CPWs answer to Optifine. It has it's own issues, but isn't nearly as well known for the issues Optifine has had. As for the fluidstack, it's basically how Forge registers fluids in game. They recently changed how Forge does that, breaking a lot of mods in the process if using them with versions above 1355.
yes the ritual is already active. I have a redstone lever to turn it off and on. The lp drain is when it is healing hearts. It drains 30k in about 10 seconds.
Then it might be the headcrumb heads, as it shouldn't be using nearly that much LP.

Did you click on the tabs to the left or right of the main page? And you really need to update forge, as you WILL have crashes caused by blood altars.

I will try disabling headcrumbs on a test world to see so I don't lose my trophy room. I will post an update once I verify if it is a conflict with headcrumbs. It will have to wait until I get home from work though before I can run any tests.

That's the issue. The Guide-API team decided to change how books were registered, and didn't leave the methods that I needed. Download 1.0.0-16 to fix this, or wait for me to have to fix it myself.

Just to clarify, the null tooltip is from this line. It means absolutely nothing. The old registering system is still in place, it just doesn't set all the things that the new one does.
It was an oversight on my part to not nullcheck that specific line, but you can safely ignore it.

Oh my goodness! I cannot begin to explain how much I love this book. I am so grateful for all the effort you guys put into making it an interesting read and not just a boring table of crafting recipes. I would've read it all in one sitting if I didn't have to run errands halfway through The Alchemist. So I don't give any spoilers I won't say all the little things I so love about it and want to fawn over. I will say a couple things though, hopefully you won't get too bored by my fan-girling =P I love all the little shout outs to other mods and the way you did so. And how the books aren't all exactly the same writing style. And did I mention how much I love that it's an actual story? Also the idea that you could get such special books from a mail order catalog is just kinda funny haha. I think my favorite shout out is in the explanation of Orchestra of the Phantom Hands hehe, but that's far from the only part to make me giggle~ Ok, I guess I should stop now before I get annoying, I just love this book so much I can't even tell you.
Past all the praise I want to shower you with there are a couple things you should probably know about (I'm not gonna say anything on any typos, that would be petty considering the effort that went into making this thing). I have no idea if this has to do with you or TehNut who seems to have something to do with the Guide mod responsible for the book actually appearing in the game. The first thing is two crafting recipes are sorta missing, I'm attaching pictures to show what I mean, they're for the two kinds of sacrifice runes. Then you may or may not already know about the missing picture for the Call of the Zephyr ritual, missing texture square instead of a picture of the ritual (I assume that's what should be there). And the last issue I noticed is that the entry on Symmetry of the Omega is actually for the Serenade of the Nether instead, so that ritual is explained twice and Symmetry of the Omega isn't explained at all. I thought maybe that last one was on purpose but then the next ritual built off of it so I can only assume it's not. Maybe you already knew about all of that, but if you didn't then now you do ^.^. Again, completely love this book!
Just playing in single player, I have quite a few mods but none of them have ever had issues with each other. This has been installed and working fine but when I went to actually click the Altar it crashed and this was the report.
Please help? Love what this mod can do.
Edit: Running it on 1.7.10 with forge and light loader (everything is rigged up properly).

Did you try shift clicking?
