I'm playing around with 1.7.10 now that enough mods have updated. Artifice for 1.6.4 had the ability to disable individual features of the mod (eg. coins) which kept them from ever being registered in the world, but 1.7.10 seems to be missing this. The only options I could see are to disable certain recipes. Is this correct? I'd really like to be able to weed out features I don't need and also not have them cluttering up the creative tabs/NEI.
Also, Artifice for 1.7.10 atypically increases the RAM used by MC for me. Most other mods increased RAM usage by ~25MB-50MB, even media-rich mods like Thaumcraft and Galacticraft, but Artifice increases it by ~200MB. (MineFactory Reloaded also does.) What's up? I'm stuck with 32-bit OS so I've got to be frugal with my memory, and I'm sad to leave behind Artifice's sickles and blast walls.
There's a bad leak in the current release of Artifice (it's proportional to how many chunks you load in a play session).
I submitted a fix for it a few weeks ago. Shukaro accepted the fix today. It'll be fixed whenever the next official release is. But you can compile the project yourself if you want to use it now.

Build 300 on the Jenkins has the hash/memory fix listed as its change log and I still am seeing, unchanged, the unusually large increase in RAM consumed when adding Artifice. This is immediately after starting MC and arriving at the main menu that I'm checking the task manager.

Hey I need help.Im not sure whats wrong but some of the blocks sides are like super dark and its rely bothering me.
Connected texture blocks (limestone, marble, basalt pavers in particular) have a lighting problem on 3 sides. Smooth lighting (with maybe the requirement of fancy graphics/AO?) will solve the full darkness problem, though you'll still get stepped lighting on those three sides.
Artifice's creosote oil seems to conflict with Railcraft's creosote oil making the latter textureless.
However there is no mention of creosote oil in the config, is there a way to disable it?
Edit: So I removed Artifice and can confirm it's a conflict, CovertJaguar offered this:
CovertJaguar:
Yep, that means the bug resided with Artifice. You'll need to report it to them. Tell them they need to catch the texture atlas event and assign the texture to the fluid.
Not a conflict, Artifice completely over-rides these liquids (Bitumen, Creosote, Fuel and Oil). Missing textures in pipes/tanks/etc was already fixed, I suppose you'll have to wait for a new release (or compile it yourself).

But there's no option to disable this override, which has caused a lot of bugs and crashes due to API changed and whatnot.

Hey, there seems to be a problem when I launch the mod... The textures for every single artifice item is weird and you can see right through them. I really like this mod so it would be great if I had any help. Thanks.
The issue is with optifine. Ive been messing around with my mods for two hours. as soon as I pull optifine out, everything works fine. I know this issue was fixed somewhere, but I cannot locate it. Bdubs is running optifine and artifice, but I dont know how.

Pavers
Pavers come in two varieties, Paver and Antipaver. Each will connect to themselves, but they won't connect to the other, allowing for some interesting patterns. Pavers and Antipavers can be interchanged freely in the crafting grid.

I'm working on a pack, and I'm using Custom Ore Gen, and it looks like Artifice mod within its limestones generate ores on it's own way. Could that be? If it's so, can I disable somehow?

This is true, there should be an option - I'm not even clear on why Artifice takes over these liquids.
Many mods are not compatible with Creative. Try it in survival with cheats instead.
