Love this mod, but it has some issues I would like to see worked on...
Would be nice to incorporate into a system as a Recycler block. However, this cannot accept input/output with Buildcraft pipes, EnderIO conduits, etc.
As mentioned in my previous post, an energy cost to disassemble each item would be more fair. Again, needs to accept input from energy cables/conduits.
Incompatible with the following mods (so far):
Mekanism
Applied Energistics
Any chance to see an update/fix for these items? Thanks!
to make it a little more balanced, could make it cost Xp like the Uncrafting Table from Twilight Forest
that or simply have it only return 1/2 or 3/4 of the materials (the rest is "destroyed" in the deconstruction process)
making it use RF would only work if there were also some way to generate RF in the mod itself
If it costs XP, then I would already be using the one in Twilight Forest (I have it installed). Honestly, that is a waste of XP. For vanilla players, a mod like this could use something more reasonable, like a diamond pickaxe as a reagent that slowly loses durability.
The usage of energy (MJ/EU/RF, depending on the mod/s you use) is something that can balance the deconstruction process, given that the right cost per tick and ticks per deconstruction operation are fair, especially if it returns 100% of the materials.
Also understand that after upgrading to EnderIO conduits, I have a shitton of Mekanism cables/pipes (as well as a chest of other items) I would love to recycle instead of just tossing them in the closest lava pit.
Awesome, thank you so much. oh hey, i think there might be a slight bug with the table. from time to time it wont give me the items. but thinks it does, i think, but nothing goes into my inventory. a relogging fixes this. also if i put in a torch and select coal and stick it sometimes will give me the torchberry(from twf i think) and stick then the coal and stick. oh one more thing, would there be anyway to make the table ct like the tinkers crafting table? what i mean is if i press e by chance, is there a way to make it so it keeps the items when you exit the gui? or even make it look like an actual table and maybe even slab versions? so basically in a crafting grid 2x2 or 3x3 a table(block) will give you a table with legs and the leged table would give you a slab. each of the the new versions gui would keep the item to uncraft when exited. if its to much work i understand. just a suggestion.

I'd really like to know if you are working on or plan to update this mod for 1.8 and liteloader? I love the changes they made for 1.8, but I really miss my recycling table!
when I'm trying to deconstruct a book to get back lether There's two options as I've tinkers' construct installed n it adds an alternative book recipe. When I click the button to switch the recipe to the lether one It disconnects me from the server with an error. Is that some bug?

Loaded the 1,7.10 and ran it, everything I have ever crafted and all of the resources I had saved up are all gone! WTF!!! Spent the past year building this world and now everything gone. Guess it serves me right for not backing up before running new mod.

The Book slot is for catching the enchantment when you deconstruct an enchanted tool!!
Just put a book in that slot,... I think, if I'm not misstaken!
And to the wonderfull person who created this mod,... I so need it in 1.8,.....

Hopefully you shouldn't need to wait that much longer, but I have been very busy with finals in the next two weeks, and I have been trying to update it when I can.

I have never heard of anything like this. I am not aware of anything in my mod that could possibly do that;
do you have any more details as to maybe what other mods you had installed, and the version of forge you were using?

I am having a problem with the table. Once my son builds it the table will not deconstruct anything that he places on it. I am using version 1.7.2.
