XP Grinders are an optional thing to construct.
Dinnerbone tried nerfing the xp from mobs spawned by monster spawners a while ago.
I am sure that nightkosh could add such a feature, in theory, anyways...
But, tbh, why bother?
Is there a way to stop graves being dropped when a player gets their items back? Also a way to stop charged creepers from dropping their statues? My players inventories are just filling up with them.
While searhing a way to fix it, I asked Azanor about this problem. So here is his reply:

Is there a way to increase the spawn rate of the Catacombs? I know there suppose to be rare, but I search for hours on several maps, and have still yet to find one.
Your compatibility entry doesn't seem to list info about if it works with baubles, which you might want to list. You also say that TCon has issues and you need an API-it now has one. Compatibility with Twilight Forest should now be doable due to the items having fixed names which you can look for. If there is anything else you need, please say so.

It can't be disabled. But you can click on gravestone with shovel in hand, and you'll get all your items back without grave destruction. In this case mobs will not be spawned.

No, it can't be changed. But you can use console command to generate it.
I'm really liking the mod, adds some great exploration aspects. I am wondering if there is a way to turn off the log message about generating everything?
I ask because I'm hosting a private server for my friends and they asked me to pre-gen a large world before we start so there is no world gen as we start; the result is a log file that looks like this (this is just a small extract)
Hey I was just wondering if there is a reason I'm having an issue with the Wither Catacombs, me and some friends went inside and got the message "darkness is coming" then an insane amount of mobs spawn everywhere, so many that it starts to lag everything like crazy. I checked some mod spotlights and such and noticed its not an issue they're having (that I could find).
I am running it on the hermitmodsauce modpack in v1.0.0.5 (gravestone v2.9.7) I dunno if it would be due to something else interfering from the modpack or if this a known issue. if anyone has any ideas let me know thanks!
Not all computers are built the same. The ones that YouTubers use are usually higher end systems that can handle it. Plus mod spotlights usually only have the one mod installed, so as to put the spotlight on that one mod. It results in less lag than if they loaded their computer up with a bunch of mods before picking out just one or two.
I'm not blaming your computer, but it is one possibility that x number of mods just doesn't process as well on your system as it does on other peoples'.

I've get that crash every so often so its not always happening and not sure whats triggering it either. Been testing out the mods to tweak them and it crashes some times. Thaumcraft, Bibliocraft, Extra Utilities, Twilight Forest, Special Mobs is all that I know of that add enchantments and Project Zulu adds its own graves but, I have them disabled in configs but, there not of the sword variety.

Curse PremiumThis bug is rather weird. It crashed(this Exception throws manually by minecraft) in a "minecraft" method at creating random enchantment, which received only an item and maximum level of enchantment...
I can't fix it, cause I can't understand what is wrong in it, and can't reproduce it. But I change code a little, and game will not be crashed in this situation. It will be released soon.
But anyway it will be great to reproduce this bug. Have you got any mods which adds new enchantments. Or, maybe, you have additional "sword graves"(in addition to graves made of minecraft swords)?
I've get that crash every so often so its not always happening and not sure whats triggering it either. Been testing out the mods to tweak them and it crashes some times. Thaumcraft, Bibliocraft, Extra Utilities, Twilight Forest, Special Mobs is all that I know of that add enchantments and Project Zulu adds its own graves but, I have them disabled in configs but, there not of the sword variety.
