Poll: WorldGen with unique mobs is planned. What do you think?
The worldgen will include new kinds of caves/dungeons in the same fashion as Minecraft, like the mineshafts and mob dungeons. No over the top massive structures are planned. Of course, you can disable/enable them in the config.
I'm having a problem with this mod, when i load a world, it doesn't start and my minecraft game doesn't respond, it might be because i'm playing with other mods, but the list is quite long and it's hard to remember all of them. The game doesn't crash so i can't leave a crash report either. It might also be because i changed the mob's spawn rates... Please help, i really like this mod and it would be a shame if i had to remove it
When your game crashes, you can view the log by going into your minecraft files, going into Logs, and opening the "latest" log file. "Latest" as in that's its name.

Back in these for'ms here, and mods have been updated, mods have been created, and mods have died. The circle of life continues.
The mod is great. It adds a plentiful variety of new mobs to interact with. It has kept me entertained for quite a while. Unfortunately, I came across an indirect conflict between any biome mods. I downloaded your recommendation, biomes o' plenty, and none of your mobs spawn besides cave mobs and nether mobs.
I would not like to leave negative feedback on this mod, but I would like to suggest that you make this mod compatible with biomes o' plenty. Too difficult? Making it compatible with extra biomes xl would be fine as well. After all, biomes o' plenty is a five megabyte mod. Otherwise, your mod adds liveliness to the surface, the caves, and the nether alike. Thank you for making a fantastic mod. I would love to see you implement random structures according to your poll.

I'm personally not a fan of any 'biomes' mods, so I don't think that this is too big of a problem, but I am certainly interested in some biome-generation. Not for everything, I like the way that chameleons and some of that stuff are right now, but for some things, yes. I'm specifically thinking of the festive & rocket creepers.
oh yeah, and a preceedurally generate dungeon thing where some of the chests are mimics would be awesome.

The mobs are coded to spawn in vanilla biomes. If no biomes are specified for spawn requirements then the mobs should be able to spawn in modded biomes, however, this means the mobs are no longer organized in which biome they spawn. Here's an example: The brain slimes only spawn in beaches, but if there is no specified biome, They will spawn everywhere.
And regarding your idea about the mimics, having them in dungeons could be a little chaotic, but why not? More of a challenge .
Is this any good? I hope you like it, probably one of the longer signatures just because I had to screenshot mobs instead of just ripping texture files. But what do you think? Anything it's missing? ^^;

Um, don't nametags work? You may need to sneak+rightclick.
I can personally confirm Name Tags do NOT work on Baby Spiders. I've attempted several times, and it hasn't worked. I don't think it works on Chameleons either.

That looks great! If I were to say that there was something missing, though honestly that looks great, I'd say that the space in the bottom right corner looks like the perfect size and shape to fit in the Chameleon. That of course brings up the question of what color to make the chameleon, but what would look awesome is if either:
a. Animated gif where it shifts colors
or b. just make the whole interior transparent so that it becomes the color of wherever you put it (like how the quote box is a different color.)
Edit: May need to move image to the left a bit too, since I mis-estimated the amount of room on the right, but there's also more room on the left than I thought.

Good to know. Sounds like the only way is to name a spawn egg then. But wait, here's a thought, and if this doesn't work, it might be how it should work, but what happens when you rename the egg that it hatches from / that you're carrying it in? That makes a large amount of sense, and would probably be possible just by copy/pasting some code from the way monsters from spawn eggs get named, so if it isn't present, it's probably easier to do than name tags.

I love that idea. Perhaps if I make a better version (which I was considering, as I felt that this one was missing something) I will add that! Thanks for the suggestion!

.....do you think there would ever be a way to upgrade the camouflage Armour so that it gives the armour the texture of the block itself instead of only the color?
.....do you think there would ever be a way to upgrade the camouflage Armour so that it gives the armour the texture of the block itself instead of only the color?
no.
(maybe for the helmet, minecraft does support putting blocks on your head. But that would look weird, and You couldn't really do much with the other stuff.)
why dont you give invisibility effect to the chameleon armor ._. ?
i mean... how many hits can take the armor...
first. why? It's much cooler this way. I'm sure there are other mods that add invisibility armor...
second. Wow. nice english! I can almost read this!
third. it's just leather armor that auto-recolors. It even kind-of works on multiplayer servers that don't have the mod. (You can wear it, but it won't change color.)

Try giving us the log.
Even without a crash report, the log is useful.

I would love to see you implement random structures according to your poll.
this mod is great! but can you rename your adult spider? i am playing on 1.7.10
Um, don't nametags work? You may need to sneak+rightclick.

Is this any good? I hope you like it, probably one of the longer signatures just because I had to screenshot mobs instead of just ripping texture files. But what do you think? Anything it's missing? ^^;

Mod makers: Feel free to PM me if you want a signature, we can discuss it! They're normally free, though if you do special donator perks for your mod, I normally charge a small fee of gaining those donator perks. I find it to be a fair price. ^^

Thanks for the suggestion!

.....do you think there would ever be a way to upgrade the camouflage Armour so that it gives the armour the texture of the block itself instead of only the color?
no.
(maybe for the helmet, minecraft does support putting blocks on your head. But that would look weird, and You couldn't really do much with the other stuff.)

why dont you give an invisibility effect to the chameleon armor ._. ?
i mean... how many hits can the armor take...
first.

Gauntlet: Dark Legacy forever.
Usually using Steam/Discord nowadays, mostly actively searching around on curseforge for new mods.
Games on steam are usually Spiral Knights, TF2, SFM, and Paladins nowadays
I occasionally hop on minecraft to see what's new.
This is really good mod. I think that the old summoner was better.
yep my english is TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
thats what you wanna hear,eh? EH!?
with that aside,i think the chameleon armor + invisibility enchantment or effect(not actually invisible) would be really useful(think about it...)
or
A CHAMELEON BOSS BATTLE!!!!
primitive animals used to be GIANT right ?
this is my farvorite mod i remember playing 1.5.2 i'm glad it's back
