Not to be advertising alternate mods or anything. No disrespect intended. Project E was meant to pick up EE2 and bring it up to more modern versions, with consent. EE3, with the modder back in modding, is the reworking, rebalancing, renewal of the mod.
This isn't xenophobe's work, its pahimars, therefore its differen, and for rp2, bluepower fully replaces it except for the bluetricity.
x3n0 mentioned on Twitter that he is attempting to get a little more involved in EE3, he tweeted out some pretty cool concepts. Rest assured that x3n0 and pahi are in close contact, the primary reason the mod is so different is for the sake of balance.
So I have a few questions about how EE3 will be, and I'm not sure exactly where to ask them; I'm kind of new to the forums/GitHub/etc. But I'll just ask them here, since it's what I'm most familiar with.
Anyways, my questions.
Will the system you are planning allow people to completely replace their farms and mines with EE3? IIRC, in EE2 you could turn a diamond into tons of bread or wood, eliminating the need for a farm, or turn it into gunpowder, coal, or really anything you need. I didn't like this system, so when you said you had a different system in mind, I was hoping it would prevent this. I have an idea that it might have to do with the 3 types of dust, but is this something you have considered?
Secondly, What will the passive EMC generation be like? I didn't like the idea of infinite items for free, even if it WAS very hard to get. Will passive EMC generation be completely free, like in EE2?

I've been noticing some very odd inconsistencies when trying to transmute various blocks.
Brick Blocks for instance I can do sometimes and then other times I cannot, had a similar problem with Witchery Saplings and Thaumcraft Saplings/Woods. One moment I can transmute them, the next, I cannot. Even my book has forgotten the recipes and I cannot teach it too it again.
Very odd...

Seems it occurs whenever I use the Search Bar to look for an item to transmute. It wipes a lot of the recipes from my book. Though an alternate fix seems to be just to log into a creative world and have all the transmutes listed there.
The Book seems to share the information between game worlds.
Additionally, its probably been suggested before but i'm also putting it forward. I'd like to see a function that lets me enter a quantity of items I want to transmute.
Okay scratch that... Seems my book has forgotten ALL of it's recipes. There is some weird issue going on with it changing it's memory every time you load a different world.
So a warning to most of you out there, if you play on multiple worlds or have a creative test build world alongside your singleplayer, you might lose some of your recipes in transition between your saves. I don't know what exactly triggers it, since it seems to be random, but swapping between worlds does seem to have an effect.

Welcome fellow Sanderson fan. I expect that the best place to suggest something like this would be on Pahimar's Twitter or GitHub. I know it can easily get lost, but I haven't really seen Pahimar hanging around these forums lately, so it might just be your best bet.

What are you trying to make in the Aludel, as ratios can vary for the different items made in it. Also, what version of EE3/Minecraft are you using?
I was trying to make the Tome of Alchemical Knowledge as well as the stone, I am using the most updated version of the mod and 1.6.4.
There's your problem. 1.6.4 is no longer being updated. The Tome, bags, chests and Transmutation Tablet are only craftable in 1.7.10. At least in the Aludel anyway. Chests were at least implemented in 1.6.4.
For all your download needs. And no, he will not. It was hard enough to update what he'd been working on to 1.7.10, but backporting new code is even more difficult. So all new updates will be 1.7.10.
Does anyone know how to use the commands to add EMC values to items? I've seen many posts in different places (including from Pahimar) to use them, but not HOW to use them.

You made the transmutation thingy to big. It will go up to 5*5 size. Shift v to make it smaller.
