Um no. Remove that now. There are kids on this form.
why?
Just so you know guys, there may be a 50/50 chance that i may be moving to another country soon,so if i suddenly stop posting for a few months, you may know why.
A few months ago there was a flame war between someone called the modpackplayer and various people on this thread, it was involving orespawn but that's all I remember about it.

I play only with the top notch mods only, which instantly excludes orespawn and lucky blocks.
1) It also fixed itself for me too, but then came back. I'm not THAT worried, bugeyes aren't so common anyway.
2) Before completing AoA is normal, but Arcana RPG has some even better armor sets, such as dark iron or blindlight.
3)What do you mean by disabling mod ID-s?
4) Yes, the swords are mostly better than AoA ones and easier to obtain. Grinding for DRPG weapons is not that hard.
This is going off-topic.
Advent of ascension's armor sets allow the player to do things such
ArcanaRPG has high-defense based armor, but AoA's armor can do things such as negate fall damage, give extreme healing, a chance not to take damage (basically dodge) , a chance to deal 2x more damage, deal 4x more damage but costs hearts, and then armor that converts damage to hunger like an overshield.
I think arcanaRPG doesn't use mob ID's, in a previous update, you could optionally do it. Now they're disabled at default.
The arcanaRPG swords do weaker damage conventional damage, but have special abilities. Although you could enchant an AoA sword with void/magic blade.
Can you make a forum with all of your aoa skns? you can use mediafire for it or even imgur. I would prefer you use mediafire so that it is easier to download.
I would love it if you did some divinerpg skins to occasionally
1.8 as a version is cringey as the freaking cringe channel because Every. Single. Block. Needs three extra files to go with it and many people simply don't have enough time for this nonsense. AoA has a few thousand blocks, so that's a LOT of time needed to update. 1.9 needs damage times on all weapons in such a way that they will be balanced AND the 3 files per block. Really, 1.8/1.9 doesn't offer much over 1.7.10 and 1.7.10 is a golden age in modding (sorta) so people stick to it. I'm sure there are mods out there that add 1.8 and 1.9 content into 1.7.10 (Battlegear comes to mind), so try those out, I guess. Also, in these forums, asking for an update (as you were implying) earns you an infraction (that's how I got mine).

I feed off changelogs.
Asking for updates is spam. Really.
I make some mods that are pathetically slow to update. Join in on the wait here and here.
I wonder if the developer(s) of ArcanaRPG knows of the AoA screen effect bug when you have both mods installed....
Don't think it's JUST ArcanaRPG. I used to have it with Lycanite's Mobs and TC's warp shaders (just had that one a while ago, had to disable shaders to make it work again) and another time with TC's blurred vision and vanilla weakness. Doing shaders just mess everything up, I guess.

I think they'd be more concerned at the fact that the monsters from AoA have trouble spawning due to the sheer quantity of mobs that spawn at once from OreSpawn (i.e Ants and Worms). Also, where you'll be going, you're probably gonna NEED "overpowered".
Not really. I think it's usually because you can one-shot AoA bosses with OS weapons, which breaks the immersion. AFAIK Orespawn doesn't like itself with ANYTHING, simply because at it's lowest settings big bertha still does around 250 damage, and that is so ridiculous it's not even funny.
Maybe we can go on the Orespawn forums and ask TheyCallMeDanger to remove the floor of the config? Someone make a banner saying something like "I support 30-damage big bertha!" It might just work.

I hate the limits of the orespawn config, it's like saying that you can raise and lower the damage cap of the damage for AoA, but only to an extent of 2x higher or lower. Then again, we can possibly get the orespawn dev to make that kind of update happen.
It's fine if you're double/triple posting, although I only do it at certain intervals.

I wonder, why do people even want 1.8 ports anyway? 1.8 doesn't have much to offer aside from a few new blocks.
1.9 ports do seem good with all the weapon swing speeds, although, only for mods that have weapons. But nobody would want to make 3,000 extra files for blocks anyway.

I had to disable the warp effects in the configuration for Thaumcraft anyway to counter it

1.8 may be a bad modding version, but 1.9/1.10 actually has a big collection of mods, big enough to at least make your own pack. Mods like Tinkers Construct, Minecraft comes Alive, Biomes O' Plenty, RFTools, JurassicCraft, and Lycanites mobs are all 1.10, There's also an unofficial version of Botania for 1.10 (With permission from Vazkii). Even the FTB subreddit is wanting to update more mods to 1.10 and move on from 1.7. (Well, there was a thread on that at least...). And you can't forget the newer mods that popped up in 1.9/1.10 like JEI and Quark...
I understand that giant mods like AoA and Twilight Forest will have a hard time updating, and I didn't make this post just to ask Xolova to update, I don't mind if 2.5 and the next few updates are in 1.7.10... Besides, I'm sure Xolova coding Total Coliseum is getting him more familarized with coding beyond 1.7.10, even if it is a very small mod compared to AoA.... (I know Xolova has said that he attempted to port AoA to 1.9 without success, but we'll see what he'll decide after 2.5...)
I just want people to know that while 1.7.10 may have the largest content of mods overall due to coding beyond 1.7.10 being a hassle, 1.9/1.10 still has a decent set of mods for one to play around with.

Nope, Orespawn for MC is 100% dead, instead TheyCallMeDanger made an entire Minecraft clone, a poorly made one at that, just to transfer Orespawn to and for others to mod as the game is meant to be a modding platform since he got very paranoid and pessimistic after Microsoft bought MC in 2014, it was apparently supposed to become entirely superior to modded MC and would become incredibly popular and such...
Well, similar to Minecraft's alpha version, an early alpha of "The Dangerzone" was released somewhere in late-ish 2014, kept getting frequent updates every few weeks, and was finally released somewhere in late 2015, and, surprise surprise, I see no hints of a massive success, just the effects of what too much paranoia can do to you. I warned him, I really tried, I said "this won't help you in the long run" on those message boards, and they didn't listen, they constantly moaned on how "Modded MC is dying" and how "1.6.4 is the last good modded version" or something, the reason OS even has a 1.7 version in the first place was due to popular demand.
I left that place a long time ago.
He... he didn't say anything inappropriate.

Maybe the pages that were completely off-topic were removed by a MCF moderator or something... I dunno...

Like what though? I do not recall any off-topic pages.
