Yeah Im new with this mod and it has so much to offer. But maybe make the veins a little bit smaller? like the size om iron, diamond etc? Maybe not too important... But do you know how I can turn on so I can see the skills? I am having latest update installed.
This is the biggest and best mod ever made, it includes everything and a little more!
Click "C" to view your skills. Then use the right and left arrow keys to see the names. Also, I think the veins are sized well. As you get further into the mod, you'll notice that guns and ranged weapons are very helpful, and you'll find yourself using them a lot more. So the ammo is definitely needed.
Hopefully the mob contest winners are coming out soon - I want to see what the winners look like. On a side note, the AoA update checker now says the contest is "Create Greatblades"...
That's 80,000 copper coins... Plus you have to find a banker in Lelyetia or Dustopia
That's the point. I feel to access it through a trader, it should be used to get to one dimension only. The way to do that is to make them so expensive, it's unappealing that you'd only use it if you've been to all the other dimensions and, say a certain biome like the jungle doesn't generate in your world, etc. Then you'd need to go through an ordeal in order to get to it. Keep in mind, the new npc will also allow you to trade ores and other excess realmstones for coins too, so the value of Lunaver coins decreases. That's just how I feel though.
Perhaps we could do just one or two Lunaver coins, but have some overworld mob drop a rare "base realmstone" that the trader can convert. Access to every dimension thus far requires defeating some type of mob, even the Runandor and Greckon. I think it would be fine if there was some type of mob interaction required. And even if it was silver coins, you'd still need a trader.
Anyway, I found that Magickes drop the Haven realmstone too after running into a bunch guarding a Goalby (which I was going after because I thought it was the only mob that could drop the realmstone). You don't know how many Magickes I've ignored because I thought they just dropped coins, I'm going to go update the wiki now so nobody else needs to go through that.
Oh wow thank you very much for this find. I also ignored Magickes
hi, so I tried downloading this mod but it keeps crashing my game. Can someone tell me what's wrong? Here is the crash log.

Would someone please give me some tips on how to maintain tribute when I go into the Ancient Cavern? I have looked at the wiki and I can't find any info apart form that I must have the tribute bar up for the particular boss I want to fight. Thanks for any help.
Edit: I figured it out. You have to kill the respective mobs.
I'm having an issue with Coniferon as he doesn't respawn after being defeated. Any solutions? I tried relogging as well as leaving and reentering the dimension. Thanks for any help/feedback.
Minecraft became unplayable on really bad computers somewhere in-between that and now? Some mods never updated after 1.2.5? Actually, I think a few did, but I eventually left the update behind in 1.4, 1.5, or something like that. I'm not sure if they ever did. One or two mods was not worth staying behind in 1.2.5. (As long as they're not Optifine, of course. It's kind of a necessity for me.)
"I don't plan to add a new dimension at the moment. It's just to performance heavy on servers, and the current dimensions need more attention before we start adding new ones." < Yeah, like biomes or actual varied terrain in the nether. Nether ruins didn't do the trick at all.
Did you turn it on peaceful? On death, Coniferon and his friends spawn a holder entity that resurrects them later - nothing in the cavern actually respawns them. If you turn it on peaceful, Coniferon will despawn because he only spawns the holder if you actually kill him. If you did, just delete the dimension folder since you can't build there anyway.
No, peaceful was not turned on. This is on an smp server. Thanks for the tip about deleting the folder. I'll do that.
I tried deleting the Ancient Cavern, he still doesn't reappear. Also, there are no drops when he is killed.
Edit: I deleted the folder and killed him again, but he doesn't reappear. Also, he provides no drops when killed.
So by any chance is there any way to use the AOA config file to prevent AOA mobs to spawn in a desired dimension ID?
I would like AOA mobs to stay in AOA dimensions.
When i want them back as it was, just to modify the config file again.
Something like (example of config file)
MobsSpawnOnlyInAOADimensions: true (or false)
MobsSpawnOnlyInAOADimensionsExceptForA: 23 (put dimension ID here)
MobsSpawnOnlyInAOADimensionsExceptForB: 45 (put dimension ID here)
MobsSpawnOnlyInAOADimensionsExceptForC: 75 (put dimension ID here)
MobsSpawnOnlyInAOADimensionsExceptForD: 05 (put dimension ID here)
MobsSpawnOnlyInAOADimensionsExceptForE: 13 (put dimension ID here)
MobsSpawnOnlyInAOADimensionsExceptForF: 02 (put dimension ID here)
AoA mobs do spawn in their respective dimensions. The error you experienced is unique to Twilight Forest, as I've had other mobs from other mods spawn there as well (Without a biome ID conflict)
Why would you want it?

AND WE'RE THE GAME GRUMPS
Anyone know what the intended way to harvest rune posts is if there is an intended way besides blowing it up? That would be appreciated.

Then I found a bug. Discovered that when a ghast blew up my fire shrine.

Hm... I think that could be a little too easy... Perhaps 10 Lunaver coins?
That's 80,000 copper coins... Plus you have to find a banker in Lelyetia or Dustopia

No problem!

Yeah, we need a few better Greatblades.

Hey, I've been requested to release a 1.2.5 version.
Oh wow thank you very much for this find. I also ignored Magickes
your ether using the wrong forge, or its one of your other mods. (can't read crash reports that well)
His question was already answered, and you are wrong.
I'm not sure what holds people in 1.2.5.
is this mod at all modular? I really like the mobs and dimensions, but I don't really want the advanced mechanics.
