I think the gtx 10 series is an exception to that rule - I notice it isn't listed in that table (the linked index page says the data was compiled "between 2015-02-20 and 2015-08-20", and I'm fairly sure that was before the gtx 10 series came out). Also, I just tried the OpenGL Extensions Viewer, and it also shows the max texture size for my video card as 32768x32768 (attached). If you know of other similar programs, I'm willing to try them.
It is only necessary to merge the current fragment color with the flash color.
The example from latest Sildur's shaders should be enough.
Also make sure to use a recent OptiFine version.

Get an addblocker from the store's browser you use to block all those adds. Once you have it, there's only one button you see to click, the one on the top right corner saying [SKIP ADD]. Then it will redirect you to the actual download.

I do have an adblocker and even then, the redirect link does not being me to a download, it litteraly doesnt so anything, I don't understand why, sometimes it just redirects me to a random ad page, and sometimes it brings me to the optifine website without any download , anyone knows why?
I used to have that issue as well and I had to change my addblocker. Now I use Fair Addblock(By Stands). For some reason my previous addbocker stopped blocking the adds and I was forced to change. So far, Fair Addblock has been doing the job. To be fair, even better than,at least, ABP.
I'm not a pro here but, I have a feeling that some add places are finding ways to bypass add blockers hence why you're experiencing that. Try to change to another Add Blocker
Just upgraded to 1.10.2 with latest OF. Normally I have little trouble, but now I see chunks are not loading. I can walk up to the edge and nothing loads. If I manually fiddle with the distance settings in OF, they will load, but there's no rhyme or reason to it. (I can get the same result if I DECREASE the distance, or if I increase it.) I am typically running at "far" distance.
At the same time I also updated to Windows 10, which is killing my FPS generally, even with latest Nvidia drivers. So this may not be an OF problem... I'm not sure.
Anyone else seeing a problem with chunks simply NOT loading?

I'm running OF 1.10.2 HD U C2 on Windows 10 and I have no problems with chunk loading. I went back to C2 because I did have some issues with C3, although not chunk related.
Lazy chunk loading defaults to on, so try turning it off. That can cause chunk loading issues. If that doesn't help, try the previous C2 version.
I've actually had the opposite experience with FPS and Windows 10. Minecraft is way faster under Windows 10 for me, even without Optifine (my system previously had Windows 8.1). Although I did a clean install of Win-10 after the upgrade. And when I say way faster, I mean seriously way faster. Like more than double the frame rate.

Where do you see the 40% boost?
Minecraft is using LWJGL 2.9, the Vulkan API can only by used with LWJGL 3+.
It is a major rewrite and it is not backwards compatible with LWJGL 2.

Does anyone know how to make entities have vanilla lighting? The entities have flat shading, which doesn't look that great. The other issue I have is that all particles as well as shot arrows are full bright. Does anyone know how two fix these two?
Also, possibly some bugs with the shaders mod itself, the block highlighting box does not distort correctly, and plants don't wave when placed in flower pots.

Your right I had to re-read what i wrote . To clarify , I was referring to The API in General . Tried Doom4 Vulkan , on my AMD A10 APU . It went from slow and sluggish to amazingly playable So yes with the AMD APU 40 percent and better . On my Intel with AMD R9 around 20 percent increase .

For some reason when i actually have the game paused, my FPS is 30-40, but when playing it is 0-15. any help?

You are right. Arrows are bright despite being in darkness in vanilla.

I making model, but when less than 16 block model, put the block model and the ground level, block model rendering. I only have close Smooth lighting。

You can not use partial models for full cube blocks. The lighting and face culling will be wrong.
