You are Brian a citizen of the Kingdom of Tharros. In this map you need to choose what you want to do and your choices will have a major impact on the endings of the map.

โง Dynamic Storyline - Choices Matter
The story and the endings of this map will change depending on the player's choices. Decide your own story. But not only are there many choices, there are also lots of sidequests. Not all sidequests are always available though. Some are at places that you only reach with some choices. Character Deaths and many other things are completely controled by your actions. There is even something for those who don't even want to play the story: Join the Thieve's Guild for example or do one of many other actions, that completely change the normal story. The main story currently consists out of at least 30 chapters. (excluding Sidequests), you probably will only play through less then 10 of those chapters in one playthrough.
Reignford has a world that is way bigger than the ones from any other ford map. The map is around 100 times (yes, seriously) bigger than the one in Warthford.The world will feature elaborate sidequests along with the main story.
This map will feature at least 3 (but probably more) cities and many other notable locations
โง Battle System - Unique Combat Instead of using the normal minecraft combat system we are making a completely new one, that fits better with the map. While there has been a lot of progress already we do not want to reveal it yet.
There are many characters in this map. While most still look similar to the characters from previous ford maps, this time they are entirely based on 3d models. This allows a lot of customization that you soon will be able to see.
Reignford will have a lot of custom music, specifically made for this map. We already have 8 tracks finished and there will be more. The music will improve your gameplay experience and make the world feel more alive
Like all other ford maps, Reignford will also have a Day & Night cycle. Characters won't only have different dialogue at night, but they also can be at different places.

Today we finished a lot of characters (around 80). Instead of making the character out of blocks (as usual in the ford series) we are using custom 3d models this time. Many character still look just like they'd looked in the other ford series, but this allows us a lot of customization (that we aren't showing you yet :D). Instead of talking to the character by pressing a button on them, this time you just have to right click them.

Here you can see one of the first characters with it's own model! It has around 20 extra elements, but that's nothing compared to another character that has close to 100 extra elements.
I'm glad you guys are doing something with the npcs to make them look better. Now, all you've got to do is add individual elements and can do cool custom stuff like the tree-person-thing above.

The beginning of Reignford will be different than the other ford maps, but after 3 different parts the gameplay will be similar to the other ford maps.

So you might've read that Reignford is going to be quite big, but I'm sure you don't know how big it's going to be at all yet.
So this is Reignford:
(There also are a lot of things that haven't been built yet)
That looks quite big, but how big is it really?
This is Reignford compared to the other ford maps.
Reignford is around 90 times bigger than Warthford
And over 150 times bigger if you count places that the player won't be able to reach (e.g. Ocean)
But now you might ask if there are enough buildings?
This is Reignford's Start City compared to the whole Warthford map. As you can see it's way bigger
And here is another Reignford City: The Capital. More than 3.5 Warthfords would fit in it
(It's not done yet, so that's why it looks very empty. Everything that's still green will have buildings soon)
Compared to the other ford maps Reignford is very very large!

Today we finished a lot of characters (around 80). Instead of making the character out of blocks (as usual in the ford series) we are using custom 3d models this time. Many character still look just like they'd looked in the other ford series, but this allows us a lot of customization (that we aren't showing you yet :D). Instead of talking to the character by pressing a button on them, this time you just have to right click them.
Here is a simple example for the character.
