Hi mapmakers, I am here to help you make awesome-er maps.Not a map maker? Check out my maps at the bottom of the post!
Making a Minecraft map is fun, but it is difficult to make your map stand out. How can you create a map filled with epic scenery quickly and efficiently? Real game designers utilize 3D models from third parties in order to efficiently create large and vibrant worlds quickly. Now you can to!
I am providing a library of and detailed builds (or 'models') of a large variety of objects that you can easily import and use in any map you want. If you use these builds in your maps or servers, no attribution or credit to me is required, I ask only that you be patient the adf.ly links on this page (see: "About Adf.ly" at the bottom of this post for details) don't re-upload the individual models anywhere else (but you are free to upload your map that includes them!). Each build or build-pack you use will save you time and energy and make your maps professional! Or if you prefer, you can take a close look at the builds to so you can make them yourself, these are great examples!
I will be adding models regularly, and please request if there is an object that you would like to put in your map but do not see here. Also, if you have your own high-quality builds you would like to make available to other mappers, PM me and we can add them (including your monetary links) to this page! Lets democratize map making so anyone can build like a pro!
HOW TO USE THESE BUILDS IN YOUR MAP:
To see a build in-game, simply download and open the world file that contains the build! In order to import them into your map world, you will need MCEdit. But don't worry, it is easy to get, and it is a very powerful and convenient tool that every mapmaker should have! For example, you can use MCEdit to move and rotate builds! You can download and install it here: MCEdit Website
Each download includes a world file so you can easily see the builds even if you don't have MCEdit. Each file also contains the MCEdit schematics for each build so you can quickly import and place the builds in your map! Let me know if you have any difficulties and I will be happy to help you out!
Once the object is in your world, you can copy it and move it around using the "clone" command.
EASY Import Service: If you can't figure it out, but still want to add scenery objects into your map, you can send me your map file and I will import them for you! (this may take up to a week). I will provide you a link to download your map with scenery objects imported! You can move them to where you want with the clone command (see above).

This propeller plane is inspired by the Cessna Caravan and is built at realistic scale. Good for short commuter flights or private aviation. The command block in the front can be set to teleport the player(s) to their destination!
This yacht is a mansion at sea, with fully outfitted interior that includes five cabins below deck, three levels, and a hot tub! Constructed at a 2-block ceiling height, it packs a lot functionality into a substantial but manageable (when compared with the ships) build!
Sail the Minecraft oceans in luxury with this sailing yacht that is both beautiful and fully interactive, built at a realistic scale and is fully outfitted with living space for three!

oh thats nice, ill def be putting that on the horizon. have you uploaded these to minecraft schematics? thats a good website to use to get things like this out there, i have several of my own creations on there myself

The yacht is up now! Propeller plane coming tomorrow.
I might upload some there, but the emphasis here is that these builds are free and open for anyone to use in their maps that they can upload wherever they want!
one wee problem with the sailing yacht is that the chests right below the roof wont open, im in 1.11.2 and any chest below a slab or bottom of the stair wont open. i remember in 1.7.10 they could open though. bit of a shame really since that back part would make an excellent storage area.
if you really want to get these builds out there for people to use then id definitely reccommend uploading to multiple websites

Oops thats annoying. Maybe you can put them against the back wall? You are free to modify however you want. I will update them at some point, but my computer litterally just gave up the ghost today so it will be awhile. I was just finishing updating the big yacht including 2.5 block ceilings instead of 2 block ceilings, but havent uploaded it yet.
Looks really awesome. I particularly haven't got much experience with modern themed builds, so if I ever create a map I'll definitely consider using some of these.
