No, it doesn't. Dan made sure that the command blocks responsible for time passage are only active when there is at least one player online. So unless it somehow broke since we last tested the system during the later alpha stages, the only thing that will lead to a perceived time difference on your end will be other players logging in while you're off

I wrote about my adventures on the Alpha version of the OathBros/Caplex Build Team's map Space Expedition in my blog! (Discontinued)
For my experiences of the Beta versions of that same map, I started a YouTube series, which (due to prior knowledge from the Alpha) ended up being very fast paced and highly focused on showing off as much of the custom stuff as I can.
Am I Allowed To Use The World In My Youtube Thumbnail About A Lets Play On This Map?
I am not sure what you mean by "the world". If you mean can you use pictures from the map as your thumbnail, yes that's fine. You can even use any of the ones I've taken and posted on the OP. Linking the map in your description will be credit enough. By the way, your vid is now linked on the OP, looking forward to seeing the next!

updated your link to the playlist. Nice 2nd episode!
For everyone else! The 2nd official expansion to the map is almost upon us! I'm planning to release it Saturday, probably in the evening EST time zone as I need to run some tests on the new planned features! Lezandria has a sneak peak at one of the more fun additional from this update in the her 5th video which is coming out today.
I never got any more comments from the two players experiencing lag. Did my suggestions help? The lag seems to be very platform specific as certain players never see it even with average or low-end computers. It might honestly be a windows 10 issue only in which case maybe the updates to rendering and chunk loading in 1.12 and the introduciton of Java 8 to windows 10 will fix it. I confirmed there aren't a lot of command blocks running when it happens so it is some sort of rare render/entity issue that is more common on some computers. I'll do my best to fix it but wasn't able to make much progress this week due to it being right before a planned update.

New episode on my series! As Dan hinted at, I updated my save to include the new bio suit update that will be part of this weekend's update, and the first part of this episode is entirely about the new colors! If you're interested in seeing the different possible combinations, it is absolutely safe to watch the first 2 minutes without getting any spoilers of stuff outside the holodeck!
Rest of the episode, not so much, so only keep watching if you're prepared to see custom areas

My friend I'm playing multiplayer with has been busy, so I haven't really played since my last post. I guess you missed the edit or something, but the lag must have been caused by glitched out mobs, because toggling peaceful fixed it every time.
Are you adding anything silly since the update is April 1st? >:D
How do you guys discover hidden areas underground like do you tear down everything or is it just pure luck. and also how do you get custom metals. I'm not sure
How do you guys discover hidden areas underground like do you tear down everything or is it just pure luck. and also how do you get custom metals. I'm not sure
Some metals, you'll have to wait for them to fall from the sky, others are in some mobs' bellies. Also, custom dungeons may have a few pieces stored away here and there.
Keep an eye out for meteor showers, Bony Biters, Flinty Biters, and Silverfish. If I'm not mistaken, those four should be able to give you everything you need, given enough time. The dungeons can speed up the process a bit, but you can easily get access to enough metals for everything without them, it just takes longer
As for the underground areas:
Most of them can be found once you've built the glider and explore the edges of the asteroids. Some cave entrances that lead to custom dungeons are a bit more obvious than others, but if you don't want to build strip mines throughout all of the asteroids, checking out suspicious looking caves is a good start.

Yeah I made entrances, ravines, or cave networks connect to all custom areas underground form the surface. So you should find them all with just normal caving. A lot, as Lezandria said, have a suspicious looking entrance somewhere on the cliffsides and once you have the glider flying around the edges can turn up some things you might have missed. Considering making some areas more obvious in future iterations tho.
Lez explained the rare metals well. That should be all the info you need.
Stay tuned for the April 1st Update tomorrow evening! I've been working hard on it, here's some teasers of things I have finished so far:
- Optimization: Slime fertilizer now fully grows carrot, pumpkin, and melon seeds + new particle effect!
- Optimization: Newly crafted Stem Drinks now heal 4 hearts
- Optimization: spring rain showers now transition only half as frequently
- Optimization: meteor showers and sandstorms no longer occur while at the Holodeck
- Optimization: first comment on armor upgrades tells you maximum rating (no longer have to read the info files to find out)
- Optimization: walking tour and many comments have been edited to make reading more streamlined
- Optimization: Dragon bones can only be used to increase armor rating above 8 now.
- Added: glass space helmets! You can choose from 8 colors in the holodeck!
- Added: New customizable Biosuit colors! You can choose from 8 colors in the holodeck!
- Added: Honey Tea & Compressed Recipe
- Added: Honey-Coated Apples and Honey-Coated Carrots!
- Added: turtle shells, dragon eggs, and cauldrons are now recyclable!
- Added: marker beacons on the ship to make it easy to locate it
Quite a bit more planned and currently being worked on but there's a few fully finished new features and changes.
As for "fun" additions, you'll have to wait and see...
Space Expedition to EPIC 204:Go on a Space-Age Adventure to visit and explore EPIC 204, a wacky world of dense asteroids and full of alien life! Experience Custom Seasons, Weather, Over 50 new creatures, Beautiful Biomes, Alien Ruins, Dungeons, and new space age tech crafting recipes!
It works. The way it works is you have to physically throw the item on cropland near seed crops. It will grow the plants in a ring around where if falls, so way more powerful then bonemeal. Right now it works properly on wheat, beetroot, and potatoes, and partially on carrots (there was a bug where they didn't grow up fully tho). Next update fixes that and allows it to be used on pumpkin and melon stems now. If you get a few pieces it can be the perfect way to jump-start your gardens in the spring.
There are a lot of details about the map that it might be good to eventually do a feature series on the map. For the beta version I left a lot of it up to players to discover and just put hints and things in the map to see how people liked it.
How would you guys feel about me reactivating my youtube channel and making videos once a week or so about the stuff I'm working on and announcing each new expansion? Would that be more fun then just changelogs here?

Odd thing to note: Me and oldy randomly got strange crashes from the server, something about ticks taking too long. It only occurred when i logged in though, so we both deduced a mob causing a bug. WE fixed it via peaceful and it works fine now.
The info files make it a bit clearer but I'm adding this info to the original comment too in the update saturday evening. Basically order doesn't matter except each armor item can only increase you up to a certain amount. Leather can only be used for armor points 1 & 2 after which it is too weak. Fish scales 1, 2, 3, or 4. The next best armor item is 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6, and so on. So you can use the better ones first or more times if you find them first. It doesn't matter. I did it this way to leave the upgrade path flexible.
By the way, if you want spoilers, Watch Lezandria's videos. She shows how to do a lot of things quickly If not, the map is designed to reveal stuff to you as you explore and find certain items or areas gradually.
The glider is a mid-level tech item and can take a bit of saving to get the supplies for.
The recipe is revealed when you to get enough titanium dust to make an ingot. Most players find their first titanium dust in the craters from meteor showers that occurs summer-->fall so if you are in spring still you have a few days to go before you get a chance at these items and even then it may take a few showers and some other items as well. I think most players get the glider sometimes after the first winter

yeah no. I did originally look into the idea, but it is a bit annoying to do with command blocks. The main issue is there are so many enchant combos on items and enchants, and levels, I would have needed a huge amount of command blocks to handle them all. So I left it with the original idea which was to take enchants off items and give you back xp. then I added the 2 other secondary functions. The storing xp one and revealing what is on treasure items is probably the more used of the 3.

Thx for the help. I was wondering if there were custom areas in the big hole left to the ship.
So dan i had a sad revelation today.
Me and my friend oldy were farming, getting things ready, we even made a disenchanter....
Me and oldy thought the disenchanter could remove enchantments and put them on books....
Nope. We were glad we tested it with fire ant blood but were sad we couldn't put the sweeping edge from the hoe onto a normal iron sword.

I thought it could've been used on items like the pearl with looting 5 before i threw it in and lost it forever T-T
