Does anybody know where I can find a set of good, complete Forge modding tutorials - THAT AREN"T VIDEO-BASED?? Because I have a slow Internet connection, and I don't have a lot of time to watch videos anyway, so... I was hoping someone could redirect me to a place where there are tutorials that meet these specs:
1. The instructions are clearly and concisely written out in an easy-to-read and understand format.
2. I need tutorials for any MC version.
3. The instructions I need are: how to set up Eclipse, MCP, and Forge so that I can mod! Everything I've tried before this simply didn't work.
So, I guess you get it: I'm a n00b to modding, but I've been thinking about some ideas lately, and I'd like to get started. Preliminary thank-you to anyone who replies!
I'm sorry the best place to learn are these courses and they are sadly video only.
However these are 10 times better than ANY OTHER tutorial on modding, written or otherwise! Vswe's Courses brings you from beginner to advance modder over the whole semester of courses.
As for written tutorials then www.minecraftforge.net/wiki/Basic_Modding is the place to start followed by the other basics there.
Also greyminecraftcoder.blogspot.com.au/p/list-of-topics.html is a great read to start getting into how minecraft's code works!
After that then I guess Wuppy's tutorials are the next one's. Oh and you can use my list of tutorials linked in the signature below to quickly find forge tutorials of your liking

... for 1.6.2. But I'm still on 1.5.2, so does anybody know where I can find tutorials for 1.5.2?
