Thanks for your opinion. The main reason I charge those prices are because of how much time and effort I put into making the best quality skin possible.
I have done around 50 commissions so far and from what I've been told it doesn't seem to be much of an issue.
Thanks for your concern though I appreciate the feedback.
I recently approached GreenMohawk about a commission completely out of nowhere, and he was incredibly friendly right off the bat. It only took a bit of discussing for him to understand what I was looking for and then he got to work. Not only did he finish the skin quickly, but it's fantastic quality as well. Not only that but he makes sure that you are satisfied with his work before accepting any payment, which is great for the customer.
As for prices, they're definitely reasonable. At only $10, it's a good deal for the quality you'll be getting. If you consider it like a job, $10 for at least an hour (possibly even more) of work is on the cheaper end (especially when considering commissions).
Overall, if you're looking to get a skin made and don't quite have the skill or time to do so yourself, I'd recommend going to GreenMohawk.
The shop is still open! Feel free to message me using any of my contact information if you have any questions or concerns. Please make sure you understand the price before you contact me if you are buying.
Hello. I would just like to say that this service is still up and running. So if you are in need of a skin feel free to message me and I would be happy to help.
Just a heads up to anybody interested. The best and fastest way to contact me if possible is to use the information provided in the thread. This site sadly does not tell me when somebody replies so I might be a couple days late to seeing your message.
Hello everybody! As it is now a new year, many of you might be wanting a new you. So in favor of this, I will be doing a Buy 2 get 1 free deal going on until January 7th!
How the deal works are you can buy 2 skins, mix and match whichever type you would like, and get another free. Pretty self-explanatory.
You must buy at least one 1.8 skin if you would like a 1.8 skin for free.
If you have any questions make sure to let me know and I would be happy to answer.
Have to say he did a fantastic job, edited it several times and only after it was done how I liked it did he ask for the payment. Along with that he got it done in less than 24 hours of me finding this post and talking to him. Hard worker, and will make you a great skin!
these aren’t bad but i think there is tons of room for improvement, like i could go on pmc and find something of this quality or better and get it done for free. like the shading isnt really shading as much as it is just noise.. ehem sorry
have you ever tried tutorials? they might help a little and i also recommend light sourcing because your color choices would work better with it than what you’re currently doing
the renderings tho are really good and something id be more willing to pay for
but no need to listen to me, just some random hater sounding person on the internet
Sorry for the late reply, the forum doesn't email me for each message, unfortunately.
I appreciate the feedback, but I will most likely be sticking to how I do things.
There are many styles of shading that are used. The most common are Smooth Shading, Noise Shading (as you call it), and just no shading at all. I personally use the noisy look, as I feel it adds greater detail in most situations. But obviously, each person has their own preferences.
The thing you have to keep in mind when it comes to color pallets or designs, is all of my skins are made to satisfy that client/individual, who has requested the skin.
Although one person might not like that color combination, or a design, or whatever. It's made for that single person, and whatever makes them happy. That is why I have my entire service based on how I don't get paid a cent until you are 100% satisfied and happy with the skin.
As for my renders, thanks. I do 3D Animation, Renders, and Digital Art. So that's how I thought of doing those with each skin and example I send out.
So, I hope this helps with your criticism/concerns with my service. I didn't think of it as hate or anything.
Also, I will be adding around 10+ more skins to the portfolio soon. As it hasn't been updated in awhile.

Goodluck with this, with how minecraft culture gives most things like art assets for free I don't see this making much. Might be a good idea to build rep on planetminecraft first then go for the partner program with microsoft. Just remember to enjoy yourself while skinnin my man
Thanks for the support man. But I've been doing this for over 2 years now and I actually bought my first desktop by doing it. It might not be amazingly fast money, but that's not really the point, as I didn't start this to make money. The ultimate goal of art (in my opinion), is to inspire others, and make people feel good.
Hello, Graysin. Yes, this is still open for business. I would be happy to help you out with anything you need. Feel free to contact me using any of the information on the main post!
Sorry for the late reply. Unfortunately the website does not inform me when I receive a new reply.
GreenMohawk was really great and overall amazing. He got all 4 plus an extra done within one day which is great considering I was waiting 2 months for the same skins to be done by someone else. The prices are also perfect and he takes his time to make sure you are happy with your skins. I will definitely be commissioning him again soon!

The portfolio has been updated with more recent creations. There are now a lot more Halloween skins posted.

The portfolio has been updated! I will try to keep it a bit more up to date with skins as I make them.

How would we go about paying you for the skin commisions?
All payments are done VIA PayPal, but you do not have to pay until the skin is 100% complete and you are satisfied.
I have updated the thread to say the same.

Is this still open? and if so I would be interested in getting 3-4 skins done.
