Great work Paril, I love the new version. My only problem is not having all my skins at hand, is there a way to "Bulk Import" them into my new MCskin3D?
Options < Skin Directories. You can add your old folder to be a second skin directory.
i only had acces to 2 of the 4 models and do you also whats wrong with the models not being complete in the client, and how many u want to test the ones that didn't work for me ?
Two questions.
I'm trying to modify the user interface/icons and I want to know how To
A.) Get into the PDB file holding them
B.) Find out which file the icons are in.
Thanks :]

The PDB file is the Program Data Base, which is used to generate more precise crash information.
The icons are embedded in the .exe as resources. Easiest way to edit them would be to get the source code, edit the resources and compile it with Visual C# Express 2010 (freeware).

Hey Paril! I have a little challenge for you...
Could you make a way to upload it directly to PMC through the program? Cause I have trouble with uploading it by finding the file. Just a little challenge that I think you could do. And could you please do it before the Apocalypse skin contest is due?? You would be the god of programming to me.
The rendering (or I am not sure what you would call it) is not stable (again, not sure of the correct term), When viewing a skin the body parts begin to overlap one another to the extent that when zoomed out the whole back of the skin becomes the front. *Edit* - I mean it is worse than 1.3
You can not move (Click and drag) skins between folders or anywhere really...
If you press CTRL + Y more times than you have undone an action (e.g. Undoing two actions and pressing CTRL + Y 3 times) an application error box comes up.
Generally this is a video card issue. In 1.3 there was a bug with the depth buffer, but that was fixed in 1.4. I would update your drivers.
The drag/drop does let you drag between folders. We did quite a lot of testing on this, but, if you can find a reproducible method of if not working let me know.
I'll look into this one. Might have been an oversight. If this is indeed a bug it should be fixed in the next minor release. EDIT: Verified. This is indeed a bug. Fixing it now.

do u already have an idea what the problem is ? (srry for being impatient this client is really usefull for the mod im working on and we try to release as soon as posible)
Oh, yes, I fixed it. I'm just trying to fix as much as I can before releasing the update (I have like 80 crash reports to wade through).
I used this before my PC broke, it was great! but now since my PC is broken, i can't use it. the point is, i am wondering if you are working on a mac version, because i want to make some skins and i can't.
and again ITS AWESOMES!!!!!
I've never done that so I don't know what it does. You'd still use your username to upload, though.

1.4 includes a "Browse To" option. Simply right-click on the skin and click on Browse to Skin.

Thank you for your input, and forgive me for being a slow learner and noob, but here is the backbreaking question:
What do I do from there? What I mean by this is this:
I'm confused how you are supposed to view the other models (endermen, slime etc) how do you change the model?
Top-right corner, on the toolbar, there's a dropdown for the models.
We don't include the skins of the mobs for copyright reasons. The models are there, though.

you see, i checked remember me, then i migrated to Mojang, that uses your e-mail to log in instead of your username (User name does`nt work). so i need to change it..

Hold Shift as you click the upload button.
I'll make this easier in the next update.
I'm not really a skin artist, but awesome program Will use this to make myself skins :3
Also, I found this problem (checked the 10 first pages of the thread and didn't notice anyone else having this same problem as I do) whenever I try to use the fill bucket, MCSkin3d goes unresponsive, and crashes right after, at least if I try to use the bucket on a new completely unedited skin (so just a white template).
Is this the reason why I only see the new texture with the human... form-stuff in 2D-view?
Are you using the overlays? If you updated an old folder, that's probably why. Go to Settings < 2D < Overlays and click "Dynamic". The Dynamic Overlay feature in 1.4 compiles them on-the-fly.
Options < Skin Directories. You can add your old folder to be a second skin directory.
"complete in the client"? what client?
Any that don't work or didn't appear properly.

Thanks! We've got a lot of downloads as it is!
Sure thing, show us a screenshot!
I replied to you via PM.
