I'm not sure if this has been suggested or not, had a look at the FAQ and digged around in your program. (which is awsum) Anyway, have you ever considered adding a selection tool into your program? Allowing users to work with-in a certain space, use a fill tool in an marked out area and even copying over whole pieces from one skin to another.
Anyway, if it has been suggested, sorry!

We'll be adding layer support eventually, which will come with this feature as well.
Why is the chin upside-down? (1.9/1.0 only!)
Apparently, someone down at Mojang changed the model format in 1.9/1.0 and rotated/flipped the bottom of the chin. The thing is, I don't know if it's accidental or intentional, since this is quite a large change to do this far in development; I left it as it was in 1.8.1 and previous until we can get confirmation as to whether this is staying or leaving.
No- they are going to leave it like this, check the wiki. Ik this is a bit late but yeah. It's staying.

I'm just a Minecraft player that likes to give my opinion. Nothing special to see here.

Yeah, we've known for quite a while. When it first happened we badgered them to change it back but they never did, so, I left it. I left an option to switch between modes, though.
Quite a lovely piece of software. Works wonderfully for exactly what I wanted. Only annoyance is how I can't adjust settings for the tools. Such as the noise one, I can't have any sort of range of noise or threshold. I'd like to have that. :c

Drop the toolbar down just above the render view (there's a semi-transparent button for it). It has options 'n stuff.
1.4 final/stable/Finally Finished Version will be released either tonight or tomorrow morning (EST -5).
I fixed the "exploding parts" bug, which was locale-based (locales using comma as their decimal point).
Like Paril has already said a million times, he needs someone to compile it for Mac. But they don't have any to do that yet, so they have no of making a Mac version.
Just wanna save Paril the trouble of having to reply to your monotonous questions that can be answered by just looking at the main post.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
So, what Paril has done is he added mob support to the program and put in new interfaces (As well as colors) into the color selection tool.
He fixed the jaw switch, so if you previously made a skin in 1.3 where the jaw was switched, it will now go back to normal in 1.4.
Paril added a new tab above the skin selection, so that you don't have to press those little icons that make the legs and such go away (Basically so the lazy don't have to "reach far".)
The reset camera option is now here, what it does is when you go too far off with the camera, you can just snap right back too where you were.
The stamp tool! Now you can adjust the size of the brush, rather than doing pixel.. by pixel... by pixel.
Just for the dudes that didn't know, that the "Upload" option has been in past updates. What it is, is a little globe icon that will ask for a login screen to Minecraft.net, just make sure you have selected the skin you want and press that button, and now that skin is yours to wear!
The popout option, now you can seperate and put back together the tools and the skin selection area (A lot like GIMP)
Also something funny, when you try to grab Paril's skin from storage, it says "Forbidden".. We may never know what his skin is 0_0

Hello! Remember me? Im the person that has trouble with everything in the whole wide world so I ask everyone every single stupid question I can ask. Heres another one: How do I upload it to a website? I mean, I know how to upload a skin directly to minecraft, but I can't seem to upload it to PMC or Minecraft Forums. Help? Again?
Thank you for your patience,

The skins are saved in the same folder you installed to. By default, C:\Program Files\MCSkin3D\Skins\.
Hi !
I've been trying out version 1.4, and there is an annoying bug.
When I try to quit MCSkin3D, There is a message saying there was a problem and please send a bug report. At first I did send a report, but it didn't work. And because of that, I can't quit MCSkin3D. The only way I found to do it is to use the task manager.
This bug isn't really serious, but, well, it's a pain in the neck.
Hope you can fix it. Maybe I'll downgrade to 1.3 until this works, though it is a shame to do so !
I think I did receive your report, and I had fixed it. Seems to be related to the updater.
i dont know if its my fault or something but i tried to put in my techne files it worked but when i opened it the shape isn't how i modeled it :S
also didn't put in every model i put in the file to the client
We tested a couple Techne models but we didn't have access to too many of them. It's possible that some aren't compatible as of yet. Could you send me the file so I could try to see what I missed?

I'll look into it. We'll be releasing 1.4 stable soon, but, in the mean time try out the 1.4 beta.

EDIT: Done. Please be gentle - I know things will break, but try to bare with me. This is a giant release!

so whats new?
EDIT:wow nice update! xD

Thanks.
Also, my skin is there; make sure you typed Paril101 as it is.
-P
Ok... but my skins appear to not be there.
anyway, why "animate" option is gone in 1.4?
I liked that pretty much

Because of custom model support, animation isn't entirely possible to support on each model at this time.
