I really like what this editor does, but unfortunately I can't use it. Am I just being dumb, or is there currently no Mac version? If there is a way to get it to run please let me know. Thanks, and job well done, Paril.

At the moment, it's only possible if you have a bit of programming knowledge - soon, we will support Techne models!
Fun fact: Techne models are actually zip files with an XML inside of it. Go figure!

Well then, I guess it's time to get my hands dirty, so to speak, and start messing around .
EDIT: nvm, i'd have to change MCSkin3D as well :/ I guess i'll have to do it the old fashion way until you implement that feature.
I made a high resolution skin but i have no idea how to actually use it on my minecraft character. I tried the usual browse for skin on minecraft.net but an error popped up saying the skin was to big. Is there a way to put it on my character or am I out of luck?

Thanks in advance for any help
You'll have to use the HD Player Skins mod (hdminecraftskins.com).
I'd like to say a thing that you might be add to the program
When i'm editing the legs, they mirror and i like to put the mirror on and off, but i don't find the mirror enable/disable tool :S
The mirror is because that's how it is mapped to the texture. I can't change that.
That's Minecraft's limitation, not mine.
I could translate it into Lithuanian loungage, just give me the the file, that i can edit. Yeah.
But still, I like more skincraft than this.
That would be helpful! You can provide the translation when 1.4 is finished.
Could I get your opinion on why you prefer SkinCraft? It will help future development!
This is Great! you get :Diamond:. I only have one frustration. Say i want a creeper skin of some sort. To get the right shade of green, i usually take hours experimenting trying to find it. Instead of this, you could program it so I could somehow use the dropper on the actual creeper model, or something else to a similair extent. But of course, you all ready fixed that as this great skin editor will eventually be upgraded into full on texture pack making.

you read my mind. and thats why it is awesome.
There is a Dropper, and it picks up colors; it only shows the color on the RGBA/HSLA tab, however. Swatches are simply preset lists of colors.
Sadly, no Mac/Linux version.

Wich he won't, as he stated it several times. The program has a C++ version, but he needs someone to compile it on a mac.

1.4 has the mob models built in, though.
