Apparently using the Filling Tool cause the program to Stop Working. Please fix ASAP
It says. ''This program has stop working, Microsoft is finding a way to fix.'' or something like that.
Strange... it should open up an Exception dialog. Try re-installing the .NET Framework 3.5 SP1, and see if that helps any; if not, we may have to contact externally and see what we can do.
This is one of those isolated issues that is a bit hard to track down & fix without a proper stack trace, and when you get the Windows crash report dialog, something horrible has gone wrong...

Aw, thats ok. I think this program is one of the best skin editors out there, I can just use the pencil tool to fill it in. :smile.gif: Love your prog.

If you're able to continuously reproduce it, that does help to an extent - providing us with the View Details stuff of the crash dialog MIGHT help, but it's hard to tell.
The only way to really fix it though is to get it compiling on your end and debug it, basically; this would be the ultimate key to fixing it, although would probably be a 20 minute process or so.

When you think of it.. it might have been an unhandled exception. Did you make it catch them?
I do have a few questions, though. In the video, I noticed that you could animate the skin, is the animation feature just to have it do the running animation?
Can you pose the skin model or is it fixed in that position?
Can you take screen shots of the skin through the actual program?

Thank you for that.
You can move the skin around meanwhile it's running, yes.
You can take screenshots of the skin through the application itself, yep :smile.gif:
Great job, guys! I absolutely LOVE it! :biggrin.gif: Made a skin of myself in about an hour or so a few weeks back, way easier than I thought it would be. I literally can't wait until you implement blocks and mobs! :biggrin.gif:
ZOMG perfect! but im not sure if its just me, or the 3d bugs with the pixels ?
It's a known bug with certain graphics cards - we're going to be re-writing the renderer for the cross-platform port, maybe that will work better for you when we get to it :smile.gif:

I'm guessing you mean can you do more than just running - not yet, but we have plans.
This new update is pretty freakin' good. Well done.
Sadly though I am also getting the fill bucket crash but only if it's over a large area. If it's small enough, though I haven't tested how small it has to be, it works fine.
Just an idea, do you think it might be possible to add an option for the fill bucket to fill every pixel of a certain color instead of just adjacent ones? That would be a big help.
I gotta ask. Why can we choose for higher rez skins if they can't be uploaded to the Minecraft website?

That's very damn strange - can you produce a reproducible example and then give us the steps to do it?
It's possible, we haven't considered it yet. I'd probably use a different tool for that.
High resolution skins are for texture packs and mob support. It was asked as a feature, so we included it. It will especially be helpful when block support is implemented.

-J
All exceptions are caught and routed to an ExceptionDialog; the fact that he's getting a Windows crash report is very strange.
-P
That's obviously because MCSkin3D is only available for the Windows platform.

Naa you're alright.
It's only for Windows at the moment; otherwise, just download the Setup.exe and let it do it's magic.
