Great tool.
Have been using it now quite some time and the only thing that disturbs me is that there is no selecting tool. So please don't take it off your to-do list.
other than that i do not have really any big Problems
This is by far my favorite skin editor to the point where I refuse to make skins with anything else. Because of this, I was in a bad spot when I wanted an updated skin, because I also refuse to use skins made by other people, instead preferring to always make my own.
So, I'm really glad you updated it for 1.8's fantastic skin and model improvements.

(I derp'd and marred my skin with a blue streak on one of the legs, which I didn't notice and fix until after I uploaded the screencap... I also had to make a few minor tweaks to the shading and hair afterwards because I have to have it just right even though nobody else will ever notice. Oh well.)

Is there a color picker option to click on a color already used and use it again, because I can't find it =/

Edit: I have since re-downloaded and its fixed. I guess. Now I accidentally colored my background and I don't know how to change back to the grid pattern. I don't like full color like that.

This is the best editor ever! And supports the new skinny arms! Thank you so much for making this!
Edit: Just tried it out, really is best editor out there, but could really use a area picker and a way to copy-paste larger parts of the skin!
You can use the stamp button, it's what it is there for. First pick a brush size, this will be the stamp size. Then hover over the selection you want to copy/move. Hold down the shift button and left click. Now you've added the image to your stamp clipboard. Now you can normal left click anywhere you'd like to stamp that image. This is great for moving layers around or reflecting a texture you'd made or applying parts of one skin to another skin.

It would be easier to reach hard-to-reach places like the arm pits, and much more quicker than disabling this, disabling that.

Got it when using "check for updates". I did extract the program, yes indeed.
Weird that I get an OpenGL error for checking of updates. </shrug>
You can use the stamp button, it's what it is there for. First pick a brush size, this will be the stamp size. Then hover over the selection you want to copy/move. Hold down the shift button and left click. Now you've added the image to your stamp clipboard. Now you can normal left click anywhere you'd like to stamp that image. This is great for moving layers around or reflecting a texture you'd made or applying parts of one skin to another skin.
