Sadly no. It's the same problem with the mac port.
there is a problem when i try to download the "Mine little pony" mod files onto the skinning thing
i go to "help" then "check for updates"
i click on the mod pack but it does not allow me to on either version of the MCskin3D, the instaler version, or even the download version.
if you could help, it would be great, thanks!
as soon as possible too, if that's alright...
thanks
So, I understand that you guys are busy and all, but can you give us an estimate of when the Mac/Linux port is coming? That message has been on the post for a while now, and I'm slowly losing my nerves using SkinEdit. Please reply ASAP.

Is there a way u can make the folder *the head of skin shown after the name* a different picture sorta like its being updated. Cuz when I copy paste a template I want the *symbol* to change into what im doing.
Is there a way that you can change your symbol *you know the one next to your skin name* sorta like it being updated every time. I would like to know because is I copy and paste a template for me to work on i'd like it to look different than before. Is there a way I can change the symbol *you know the one next to the name of skin* because when i clone a template id like the symbol to change into what im drawing.

We can't. Until we have someone to compile it for mac/linux it won't be any time soon. Sadly I cannot edit the OP. It shouldn't say mac/linux port is coming.

I can't say I understand what you need. In the skin tree, for the skins you don't want to show the head?
And don't double post. You may be flagged for spamming... Use the edit feature!

Sadly, it does, and I really wanna use this.

is there a way to copy an entire panel, such as face front, and paste it to a different skin? im trying to merge two skins together and that would make it a lot simpler.

Not yet. There will be some method for that in a future version.
By default the program saves the skins in the <PROGRAMDIR>\Skins folder. You can find it there and move/copy it wherever you want.
No. It's a minecraft limitation.
Sadly no. It's the same problem with the mac port.
Eventually. The developement going a bit slow lately, because the programmers are really busy.

Maybe your .NET framework install become damaged. Try a repair install on it. Are you using the installer or the zip version? What OS do you use?
Have you tried running MCSkin3D in admin mode?

Maybe your VGA. Or CPU. If you provide more info I may be able to help.
Do you have the proper version of .NET Framework? Have you tried running MCSkin3D in admin mode?

I tried to install .net framework 3.5 but when i started the installer it wouldn't open. There would only be a split-second window then it closes
I fixed the lag, but now this is my problem.
Sorry for that.
Can't help you in this one.
Yep. That is the old/integrated GPU bug.
We totally need someone to compile it for mac.

So no fix then?
