No idea if this has been mentioned before, but I'm going to say it anyway.
I'd REALLY like the skin to be auto-saved when we increase/decrease resolution. You don't know how many times I've had to restart a skin because I increased resolution without saving.
I totally realize there is a warning. I'm just saying it'd be a lot easier to avoid mistake if the program forced a save (either to the current skin your editing, or as a clone).
Great tool, though. I'm so happy it has HD support! Shame I can't record skin making with Fraps though
You can. Set FRAPS to capture the DWM (main tab).
The render control is OpenGL, so FRAPS can record it.
As for the former: the resolution increase/decrease affects the actual PNG, so saving it would have no use. The warning is there to serve as just that - a warning. As for backing up - you could always Clone your skins before using the increase/decrease features.
I downloaded 1.4.0.215, and while everything looks fine there is one tiny little really amusing bug:
It looks like the thumbnails are getting slightly compressed around the left eye for some reason. It's such a tiny little thing, but I just wanted to bring it to your attention in case no one had noticed before.

I'm aware of this one.. it's very strange. It's caused by a PixelOffsetMode, but, trust me, it looks even worse when it's disabled!
The default zoom of the last beta I released was also one tick off - click "Zoom In" once, and the derpy thumbs should be gone.

Could you make the spacing between the tree list items so, that there is some (1-2 px) space between each? Would be more easing to the eye.
MCSKIN3D is great but i signed in to minecraft wrong and i was wondering if there was a way to redo that since i pressed remember username and password. Help!

It's in the location you installed MCSkin3D to.
C:\Program Files\MCSkin3D by default.

Probably a good idea!
Eventually, I'd like to have it linked to PMC. Maybe even have it PMC branded, I dunno.

Smexy. Share it at www.planetminecraft.com!

you really need to put a link to mcskin3d's facebook page on the forum
Delete settings.ini
Hold shift as you click the button.
It's right at the top in giant bold letters...
Don't delete settings.ini unless you're absolutely forced to.
D'oh didn't see it maybe you should relocate it?
Also do you want me to make you a html 5 site (I've already started) for mcskin3d?
Edit: how do you program, reply so much, sleep and earn enough money to live ?
