When I try to replace the Steve image with a persons skin it come out all weird and the legs are where the middle of the body should be and the head is all weird. How do I fix that?
I click download, it downloads a compressed .zip folder. I position it on my desktop, then double click. It opens a folder, (I have blender downloaded) not blender. Then I try and open the file in there, and it tells me I need to find the software owner/creator before opening. I assign blender to it. Now I can't do anything with it. Now when I double click It tells me it can't run..? Sooo. From the begining it didn't work. I have windows too. HOw do I fix this?

When I try to render the skin it shows up transparent, it shows the outline of Player, but I cannot get the skin on it.

Same exact problem for me. Currently trying to figure out what's up. You can still pose the character, but no skin is shown. Actually, we're both using 260. I've seen tutorials with this, and they use 2.69 etc. That may be the issue.
UPDATE: The issue IS the version of Blender being used. I updated to 2.69 and it is now fully working.
How do you even pose it? I don't know how to do this ._.
You have to look at a Blender tutorial to learn the ropes, or even a Minecraft character tutorial. This one is just an example that you can look at, and it uses this rig:
oh that would be brilliant i fixed my problem but the skin comes up with the feet and stuff
