This website is somehow has everyone's skin in their database. There is a download for every minecraft user I know, including myself. I don't know how this site has gotten my account information but it knows when I change my skin and what I change it to.
I also have no idea whether or not this site has any REAL ties with the official Minecraft.net. I'm pretty frustrated, because a skin i spent hours on is now the skin of several other users. If anyone can give me more info(if they have any) or any suggestions on how to keep the site from stealing a user's skin, please reply! In the mean time, if you have an epic skin, I would suggest changing back to Steve, unless there's a solution to this problem.
I might just be paranoid, or something, but this site does not seem legal to me. Any info I'm lacking would be most welcome, if you have any.
Thanks.
I understand where you're coming from, but what's frustrating is that I spent two days making my own custom skin just right, and a week later several people had downloaded it. It kinda defeats the purpose of having an awesome skin if EVERYONE has it.
So my beef with this whole thing isn't that skins aren't protected. It's that people are essentially pirating people's skins. Obviously, it's apparently not that big of a deal, as darkforce2000 pointed out, since they're publicly available anyway. But that doesn't mean it's not still annoying.
